FUN FACTS
Since it is so close to the Sun we don’t know a lot about Mercury
It is only 35,983,095 miles from the Sun
It has very little gravity, it also is very hot during the day and extremely cold at night so people could never live there
Even though Mercury is small than Earth in size it weighs more than Earth because it is made of Iron
It would take 18 Mercury's to be as big as Earth

Mercury doesn’t have any rings
Only two spacecraft have visited this rocky planet: and MESSENGER, which flew past Mercury three times before going into orbit around Mercury in 2011.
Daytime Temperatures on Mercury can get up to 800 degrees Fahrenheit and down to -290 degrees Fahrenheit
