    In November 2012, citizens of the City of MarshallOverwhelmingly voted to approve local sales taxesto support the MERIT Center and related partnerproject

    6 Surrounding Cities in region passed resolutionsof support for the MERIT Center and relatedpartner project.

    Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce has passed aresolution of support and has advocated for theproject locally including past legislative testimony.

    Area Businesses have provided Letters of Support.
