T-Shirt Design ContestSubmit your one-color design with the theme: “Stories We Could Tell” to [email protected] no later than May 1st. Be sure to include your name and the camp you are attending. The winner will receive a campership for 50% off the camper fee.
Backstage PassBackstage Pass is a 5-day camp that designs
and constructs the stage set and technical aspects of this yearʼs show and helps with
costumes for Creative Spirit. If you like to build, paint, design, saw or hammer, you should come
and be with us.
Creative SpiritCreative Spirit is about using our gifts, not necessarily about "good" performance but about God performance. Everyone from
Creative Spirit participates, at some level, in the show on Friday night (where parents, pastors and friends are invited). The shows in the past
years have included: Disney’s Aladdin, Jr, Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS, Disney’s
Sleeping Beauty KIDS, Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, and Suessical Jr.
Just You and Me, KidThis camp is designed with the younger
camper in mind. Activities are intergenerational and geared towards campers 4-10 years of age and a parent, grandparent, or other significant adult. Bible studies, crafts, games, swimming, and fellowship are all shared during camp with
an effort to interest campers in studying the lessons further after they return home.
All AgesThe all-ages camp offers a unique experience where campers spend the week in multi-age
cabin and Family Groups while still having time with kids their own age. The camp embraces learning to appreciate the gifts each person
brings regardless of age, and actively teaching Christian values in a family setting. The
philosophy of the camp is built on mutual respect - respect for God, others, the world
and place where we live, and ourselves. At the heart of the camp is the development of a
personal faith in Christ, practiced in community.
Faith JourneysFaith Journeys is a multi-age camp that
emphasizes Christ’s living presence both at camp and back home. The camp offers a place
where we can share our own stories as we explore and share the stories from the Bible.
Knowing that God’s Spirit is already working in each youth and adult, there is an atmosphere of mutual respect that encourages personal worth and Christian responsibility. This week includes age-group and all-camp activities to
strengthen Christian community, camper maturity, and intergenerational learning.
Getting StartedThis half-week camp is designed for younger campers who are experiencing camp for the first time alone. Campers will participate in creative Bible studies, swim, sing, do crafts
and join together for fun and fellowship. Parent Retreat Option: For a small fee, one
parent may stay on campus during this time to ease any apprehensions that your child may have about being away from home. Parents
may, but are not obligated to participate in the youth programming.
Alumni CampThis weekend retreat is for graduates of all
Merom summer camps to get together with old friends to share their journeys since leaving camp for the last time. Explore how camp impacted your transition into becoming a
young adult.
Tri-Level Tri-Level is a camp that plans activities,
discussions, and worship by age groups. This camp offers campers the opportunity to learn more about oneself, church, community, and
world while developing a closer and more personal relationship with God. Worship, Bible
study, and discussions in large group, and smaller Family groups, provide time to explore
and grow ideas old and new.
