March 19, 2009 Guest Speaker: Jackie Paton March 21, 2009 Workshop: “Good Neighbor” Stencilscape
As I look outside today, it's winter again, and a Snow Day! March is doing its
job so far, in like a lion! I'm planning to spend the day completing a new Carry
Case Bag or two - a project I just learned at Ildi's workshop this past Satur-
day. Thank you Ildi, and thank you Gail for organizing! If you were not able to
attend, there will be a beautiful selection of these for purchase at the Quilt Show
in May! Before I go any further, I want to thank Carrie and Signe for the awe-
some job they did on the UFO Auction. It was also great to see some of the fin-
ished results of previous auctions during the Show and Tell. Beautiful! Also,
thank you to Signe Kaleel, Pat Lucey, Bev Valle and Jeanne Robertson for their
workshops. Although I couldn't attend, I heard many compliments. It is won-
derful to be associated with our talented group, and to have so many willing to
share their talents. Thanks to all involved!
Hope to see you all at the March meeting -- looking forward to Show and Tell
from the workshops!
