People born in December are fearless and deter-
mined. They are blessed with a creative mind. They
are tireless workers and continue till they are totally
sapped off their energies. They have immense will-
power and concentration. These qualities make them
very successful in whatever they choose to do. Those
born in December possess a photographic memory
and are known for their concentration.
December 2016 Windsor Locks Page 3
Dear Readers,
It’s hard to believe we are now in the last month of 2016.
November came with a lot of noise, cheering and com-
plaining. Let us all settle down now and accept our
president elect with gracious thoughts and wish him and
his family our prayers and best of luck the next four
years.
We had our celebration in honor of all our Veterans on
November 10th at St. Robert Hall and what a grand
time it was. We had 190 people in attendances a very
impressive program, dignified guest speakers, a deli-
cious dinner, fabulous dessert, an evening worth leaving
home for. Stanley Wieliczka sang his rendition of a
thank you prayer, (a job well done Stanley right on
pitch)
Our many thanks to director, Ann Marie, and assistant
director, Lori, for all the weeks of planning and last min-
ute details of putting this great undertaking together just
like you see at the “Oscar Night” in Hollywood. Let’s
not forget her legion of dedicated volunteers who put the
final touches on this successful event. We had the very
old Veterans and the young ones too, who remind every-
one what it cost to us here in America to live in Freedom
and Liberty!!
Our Senior Center is looking for a gentleman willing to
volunteer a few hours a week to help out with light du-
ties unbecoming a sweet elderly young lady. Call the
Center if interested. December is a busy month at the
Senior Center, so read the Scan from page 1 to the end
for all information and details. In closing I wish you all,
my devoted readers, a blessed and beautiful Christmas.
,Peace on Earth.
