CAUTION / VERSIGTIGWARNINGS:• May irritate the eyes and skin• Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.• Store in a cool, dry place away from food and feed.• Do not use in sweet corn, popcorn or green mealies.• Re-entry: do not enter treated area until spray deposit has dried, unless wearing protective clothing.• Aerial application: Notify all inhabitants in the immediate vicinity of the area to be sprayed and issue the necessary warnings. Do not spray over or allow the drift to contaminate water or adjacent areas.

Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, the registration holder does not warrant that it will be effective under all conditions. The activity and effect thereof may be affected by factors such as abnormal climatic and storage conditions, quality of dilution water, incompatibility with other substances not indicated on the label and the occurrence of resistance of the weed against the remedy, as well as by the method, time and accuracy of application. The registration holder furthermore does not accept responsibility for damage to crops, vegetation, the environment or harm to man or animal, or for lack of performance of the remedy concerned due to failure by the user to follow the label instructions, or to the occurrence of conditions which could not have been foreseen in terms of the registration. Consult the supplier in the event of any uncertainty.

PRECAUTIONS:• Do not eat, drink or smoke whilst handling this product.• Prevent contamination of food, feeds, drinking water and eating utensils.• Wear eye protection (face shield). If you get MESO 480 SC in your eyes, flush it out immediately with running water for at least 15 minutes.• Wear rubber gloves. If you get it on your skin, wash it off at once.• If you get it on your clothes, change and wash them.• Invert the empty container over the spray or mixing tank and allow to drain for at least 30 seconds after the flow has slowed down to a drip. Thereafter rinse the container three times with a volume of water equal to a minimum of 10 % of that of the container. Add the rinsings to the contents of the spray tank before destroying the container.• Avoid inhalation of spray mist.• Avoid contact with the spray as far as possible.• Avoid spray drift onto susceptible crops, grazing, rivers, dams and areas not under treatment.• Clean applicator thoroughly after use.• Do not spray, drain or flush equipment on or near trees or plants or where their roots may extend.• Dispose of wash water where it will not contaminate crops, grazing, rivers, dams or areas not under treatment.• Destroy empty container and do not re-use for any other purpose.• Change and wash your work clothes.• Wash yourself.

RESISTANCE WARNING:For resistance management, MESO 480 SC is a group code F2 herbicide. Any weed population may contain individuals naturally resistant to MESO 480 SC and other group code F2 herbicides. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the weed population if these herbicides are used repeatedly and exclusively in programs. These resistant weeds may not be controlled by MESO 480 SC or any other group code F2 herbicides. To delay herbicide resistance:

To delay herbicide resistance:• Avoid exclusive repeated use of herbicides from the same herbicide group code. Alternate or tank mix with products from different herbicide group codes.• Integrate other control methods (chemical, cultural, biological) into weed control programs.

4. USE RESTRICTIONS:4.1 General:• Do not use MESO 480 SC on sweet corn, popcorn and inbred parent lines of maize hybrids or newly released cultivars without first consulting with your chemical supplier or with the seed company concerned.• Do not apply products containing the active ingredients Flumetsulam or Imazethapyr to soybeans, if maize has been treated with Mesotrione-containing products, e.g. MESO 480 SC (L10449) during the previous season on the same field.• Do not apply MESO 480 SC through any irrigation system other than a centre pivot system.• Disturbance of soil after both pre- and/or post-emergence applications can result in re-germination of weeds resulting in reduced weed control.4.2 Follow-on crops:The following waiting periods should be adhered to:

Wheat and barley 1 month

Grain sorghum 2 months

Potatoes 6 months

Soybeans, dry beans, groundnuts, sunflowers and cotton 9 months

All other crops 24 months

All rotational crops should be planted only after thorough cultivation. Since the product is metabolised by microbial activity, periods of low microbial activity might extend the residual activity of MESO 480 SC.

4.3 Factors affecting weed control:4.3.1 Pre-emergence application:• A well prepared seedbed, free of clods and weeds is a requirement for good pre-emergence weed control.• Prolonged dry soil conditions after a pre-emergence application may result in reduced control of germinating weeds.• Do not use MESO 480 SC under stress conditions e.g. water logging, severe cold, excessive rain, poor fertilising, low pH, etc.• Tank mixtures of MESO 480 SC with organophosphates e.g. chlorpyriphos should be avoided as damage to crop might occur. • MESO 480 SC should not be applied in cropping systems where flood irrigation is used.

4.3.2 Post-emergence application:• When applying MESO 480 SC post-emergence, make sure that the application is on the true leaves of the weeds – cotyledons are not true leaves.

• Applications should be done on weeds that are actively growing. MESO 480 SC is a systemic herbicide, which should be absorbed and translocated to be effective. This is not possible with plants under stress. • Avoid drift to adjacent crops.• Do not apply through irrigation systems.• When weeds are stressed due to drought, heat, lack of fertility, flooding or prolonged cool temperatures, control can be reduced or delayed since the weeds are not actively growing. Weed escapes may occur when application is made under prolonged stress conditions. Optimum weed control will be obtained if application of MESO 480 SC is delayed until the stress conditions have ended and weeds are once again actively growing. Care should be taken that the target weeds are still within the indicated growth stages at application.• Temporary crop injury (bleaching) may occur under extreme weather conditions or when the crop is under stress due to inadequate or abnormally high moisture levels or extreme temperatures. Prolonged overcast conditions may also lead to temporary crop bleaching.• Do not apply MESO 480 SC within 28 days after an organophosphates (e.g. terbufos) and carbamate insecticide had been applied to soil at planting.• Do not apply MESO 480 SC in tank mixture with organophosphate insecticides e.g. chlorpyriphos.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: (Use only as directed).5.1 Compatibility: MESO 480 SC is compatible with METOLACHLOR 960 EC (L10127), ACETOCHLOR 700 EC (L10098), ATRAZINE 500 SC (L10074), PARAQUAT 200 SL (L10180).

5.2 Dilution water:Use only clean water and buffer with a registered buffer.

5.3 Mixing instructions:Fill the spray or pre-mix tank with clean water and engage agitator. Agitation must be continued throughout the mixing and spraying operation. Resuspend the spray mixture if agitation was suspended for longer than 5 min.When the spray or premix tank is half full with water, add MESO 480 SC slowly and agitate until completely dispersed. If tank mixed, add MESO 480 SC first to the water. Then add all the other suspension concentrates (SC) and only thereafter the emulsifiable concentrates (EC) e.g. METALOCHLOR 960 EC or ACETOCHLOR 700 EC. Lastly add the adjuvant and then continue to fill the tank to the required level with water whilst agitating.

5.4 Ground application:MESO 480 SC must be applied the same day as mixing.

Apply by means of a tractor mounted boom sprayer which is correctly calibrated with continuous agitation to deliver at least 200 - 300 ℓ spray mixture/ha. Avoid overlapping of spray swaths.

In case of certain pre-emergence applications with hydaulic nozzles and postemergence applications with sleeve boom sprayers the water volume can be lowered to 100 ℓ spray volume/ha. However, the use of the registered adjuvants at the correct rates, correct nozzles and nozzle spacing, adequate coverage and nozzle sizes are then very important . The disregard of these factors will lead to poor control of certain weeds.

Flat fan hydraulic nozzles (110º) are recommended for optimum coverage.In certain cases, sleeve boom sprayers may be used for post-emergence applications.• Sleeve boom sprayers must be correctly calibrated, well maintained and fitted with the correct nozzles.• The air flow system on a sleeve boom sprayer should work properly and sprays should always cover the target plant fully. • The use recommendations as on this label should be followed and no changes in rates or product combinations or adjuvants should be done other than indicated in this label. • Droplet sizes that are prone to drift should be eliminated. • No pre-emergence applications of MESO 480 SC should be done with sleeve boom sprayers. If these precautions are not adhered to the registration holder cannot be held responsible for any non performance or damages suffered.

Rain or irrigation of 10 - 20 mm is needed after application to leach the chemical into the germinating zone. If this precipitation does not happen within 14 days of application, reduced efficacy can be expected.

5.5 Aerial application (maize – only pre-emergence applications)Avoid chemical drift at all times.Aerial application of MESO 480 SC may only be done by a registered aerial application operator using a correctly calibrated, registered aircraft according to the instructions of SANS 10118 (Aerial Application of Agricultural Remedies).

It is important to ensure that the spray mixture is distributed evenly over the target area and that the loss of spray material during application is restricted to a minimum. Drift should be avoided at all times. It is therefore essential that the following criteria are met:Application parameters:• Volume: A volume of 30 litres per hectare is recommended. As MESO 480 SC has not been evaluated at a reduced volume rate, the registration holder cannot guarantee efficacy, or be held responsible for any adverse effects if this product is applied aerially at a lower volume rate than recommended above.• Droplet coverage: A droplet coverage of 20 to 30 droplets per cm² must be recovered at the target:• Droplet size: A droplet size spectrum with VMD of 350 to 400 microns is recommended. Limit the production of fine droplets less than 150 microns (high drift and evaporation potential) to a minimum.• Flying height: Maintain the height of the spray boom at 3 to 4 metres above the target. Do not spray when aircraft dives, is in a climb or when banking

• Use suitable atomising equipment (hydraulic nozzles or rotary atomisers) that will produce the desired droplet size and coverage, but which will ensure the minimum loss of product either through endodrif (within target field) or exodrift (outside target field). The spraying system must produce a droplet spectrum with the lowest possible Relative Span. • Position all the atomisers/nozzles within the inner 60 to 75 % of the wingspan to prevent droplets from entering the wingtip vortices.• The difference in temperature between the wet and dry bulb thermometers, of a whirling hygrometer, should not exceed 8°C. • Stop spraying if the wind speed exceeds 15 km/h. • Stop spraying under turbulent, unstable and dry conditions during the heat of the day.• Spraying under temperature inversion conditions (spraying in or above the inversion layer) and/or high humidity conditions (relative humidity 80 % and above) may lead to the following: - reduced efficacy due to suspension and evaporation of small droplets in the air (inadequate coverage), - damage to other sensitive crops and/or non-target areas through drifting of the suspended spray cloud away from the target field.• Ensure that the Aerial Spray Operator knows exactly which fields to spray.

Obtain an assurance from the Aerial Spray Operator that the above requirements will be met and that relevant data will be compiled in a logbook and kept for future reference.

5.6 Centre pivot application (Only pre-emergence in maize) MESO 480 SC and ACETOCHLOR 700 EC can be applied through a well-operated and well-maintained centre pivot irrigation system.

• The centre pivot should apply between 4,5 mm and 7,5 mm of water when applying 265 mℓ MESO 480 SC/ha and 2ℓ METOLACHLOR 800 EC/ha. • Control should be for about 56 days where after the follow-on application should be applied by tractor sprayer. • Calculate the injection rate carefully and make sure it is correct.• Apply within 2 days of planting.• Application should be done to fields which are well prepared and with no germinating or established weeds. • Applications should only be done through centre pivots equipped with an injector system.• Once MESO 480 SC has been applied on the whole of the centre pivot area, it should be set to apply the following water volumes:• 10 mm water per ha when clay content < 20%• 15 mm water per ha when clay content is 20 - 35%• 20 mm water per ha when clay content > 35%• Keep soil wet for a period of 7-14 days after application.

• Be aware that the distribution of MESO 480 SC and METOLACHLOR 800 EC will only be as even as the application of the irrigation water.• Do not apply MESO 480 SC and Metolachlor 800EC through the irrigation water in excessive wind speeds (< 6 ms-1). • Be careful when the irrigation system overlap at the end of the cycle area as serious over dosage and possible damage could occur.• Care should be taken when applying chemicals through the centre pivot as breakages or stoppages could lead to major over application of the chemicals.• Care should be taken not to contaminate boreholes or dams with accidental spillages of chemicals in the irrigation system. Injection of the chemicals close or at the centre is preferable. Both the injector pump and the water pump should be fitted with valves to stop injection as soon as the pivot ‘s forward movement is stopped. The main irrigation water supply line should also be fitted with a non-return valve to prevent treated water to run back into the supply source.

6. CROPS:

6.1. MAIZE: • The clay content of the soil does not affect the dosage rate of MESO 480 SC.• MESO 480 SC can be applied pre- or post-emergence of either the crop or the weeds.• The pre-emergence application of MESO 480 SC must be done on a well-prepared weed-free seedbed to ensure an even distribution. • If MESO 480 SC is applied as indicated, at least 28 - 56 days control of the weeds as listed can be expected.

Die werking en effek daarvan kan beïnvloed word deur faktore soos abnormale grond-, klimaats- en bergingstoestande, kwaliteit van verdunningswater, verenigbaarheid met ander produkte wat nie op die etiket aangedui is nie en die voorkoms van weerstand van onkruide teen die betrokke middel, sowel as die metode, tyd en akkuraatheid van toediening. Verder aanvaar die registrasiehouer nie verantwoordelikheid vir skade aan gewasse, plantegroei, die omgewing of vir nadelige effek op mens of dier of vir ‘n gebrek aan prestasie van die betrokke middel, as gevolg van die versuim van die gebruiker om etiketaanwysings na te kom of as gevolg van die ontstaan van toestande wat nie kragtens die registrasie voorsien kon word nie. VOORSORGMAATREËLS:• Moet nie eet, drink of rook tydens meng en toediening of voordat hande en gesig gewas is, of skoon klere aangetrek is nie.• Verhoed wegdrywing van die spuitnewel na gevoelige gewasse, weiding, riviere, damme en areas nie onder behandeling nie.• Vermy inaseming van die spuitnewel.• Vermy kontak met die spuitnewel sover as moontlik.• Dra beskermende oorklere, ‘n geskikte gesigskerm,rubberhandskoene en -stewels, wanneer die produk hanteer word.• In die geval van toevallige kontak met die oë, spo el oë onmiddelik uit met lopende water vir minstens 15 minute en verkry mediese aandag indien nodig.• In die geval van toevallige kontak met die vel, spoel af met voldoende hoeveelheid koue water en verkry mediese aandag indien nodig.• Was gekontamineerde klere daagliks.• Moet nie spuit, dreineer of toerusting uitspoel by of naby bome of plante of waar die wortels mag groei nie.• Maak die toedieningsapparaat deeglik skoon direk na gebruik. Gooi spoelwater uit waar dit nie gewasse, weiding, boorgate, riviere, damme of areas nie onder behandeling, sal besoedel nie.• Leë houers moet DRIEKEER UITGESPOEL word soos volg: Keer die leë houer om oor die spu ittenk of mengbak en dreineer vir minstens 30 sekondes nadat die vloei tot ‘n gedrup verminder het. Spoel die houer daarna drie keer uit met ‘n volume water gelykstaande aan ‘n minimum van 10 % van die inhoud van die houer. Gooi die spoelwater by die inhoud van die spuittenk voordat die houer op die voorgeskrewe wyse vernietig word.• Vernietig die leë houer deur gate daarin te kap en plat te slaan en doen weg daarmee op ‘n veilige manier.• Moet nooit die leë houer vir enige ander doel hergebruik nie.• Voorkom besoedeling van voedsel, voer, drinkwater en eetgerei.

WEERSTANDSWAARSKUWING:MESO 480 SC is ‘n groepkode F2 onkruiddoder. Enige populasie van ‘n spesifieke onkruid mag individue insluit wat ‘n natuurlike weerstand teen MESO 480 SC of enige ander groepkode F2 onkruiddoder het. Indien hierdie onkruiddoder herhaaldelik aangewend word, kan die weerstandbiedende individue uiteindelik die onkruidpopulasie oorheers. Hierdie weerstandbiedende onkruide sal waarskynlik nie deur MESO 480 SC of enige ander groepkode F2 onkruiddoder beheer word nie.Om weerstand teen onkruiddoders te vertraag:• vermy die eksklusiewe herhaaldelike gebruik van onkruiddoders met dieselfde groepkode. 4. GEBRUIKSBEPERKINGS:4.1 Algemene beperkings:• Moet nie MESO 480 SC op suiker mielies, spring mielies en eksperimentele of nuut vrygestelde kultivars gebruik alvorens die vervaardigers of saadverspreiders geraadpleeg is nie.• Alle aanbevelings op hierdie etiket moet nagekom word. Moet nie enige veranderings maak aan dosisse, produkkombinasies of byvoegmiddels, soos aangedui op hierdie etiket nie.• Versteuring van die grond, na beide voor- en/of na-opkoms toedienings, kan swak onkruidbeheer tot gevolg hê as gevolg van herontkieming van onkruide.• Voorkom wegdrywing van MESO 480 SC na aangrensende gewasse. Klein druppels, wat neig om weg te dryf, moet vermy word.• Swak onkruidbeheer mag verkry word waar minimum bewerkingspraktyke gevolg word, of in geval van oorstaanriet waar ‘n laag plantafval ontstaan, of ni gronde met ‘n hoë organiese inhoud wat veroorsaak dat die aktiewe bestandeel vasgevang word in die stoppels of organiese materiaal, veral wanneer lae reënval voorkom.• Moet nie MESO 480 SC toedien waar vloedbesproeïng toegepas word nie.4.2 Opvolg gewasse:Om skade aan opvolggewasse te voorkom, moet die volgende wagperiodes in ag geneem word:

Alle wisselbougewasse moet slegs na ‘n deeglike grondbewerking geplant word. Aangesien die produk gemetaboliseer word deur mikrobiese aktiwiteit, sal periodes van lae mikrobiale aktiwiteit die residuele werking van MESO 480 SC verleng.

4.3 Faktore wat onkruidbeheer beïnvloed:4.3.1 Vooropkoms toediening:• Droë grondtoestande na ‘n vooropkoms toediening mag verlaagde beheer van ontkiemende onkruide tot gevolg hê.• Moet nie MESO 480 SC toedien onder stremmingstoestande nie bv. versuiptoestande, baie koue toestande, oormatige reën, swak kunsmistoediening, lae pH, ens. Die volgende situasies moet vermy word aangesien dit die mielies kan beskadig:• Die toediening van MESO 480 SC in mielies wanneer organophosphate bv.chlorpyriphos toegedien is tydens plant.

4.3.2 Naopkoms toediening:• Voorkom spuitstofwegdrywing na aangrensende gewasse.• Moet nie deur besproeiingstelsels toedien nie.

• Wanneer onkruide onder stremmingstoestande verkeer a.g.v. droogte, hitte, gebrek aan vrugbaarheid, vloede of lang koue temperature, kan die beheer verminder of vertraag word aangesien die onkruide nie aktief groei nie. Ontsnapping van onkruide mag voorkom wanneer toediening gemaak word onder lang stremmingstoestande. Optimale onkruidbeheer sal verkry word indien toediening van MESO 480 SC uitgestel word totdat die stremmingstoestande verby is en die onkruide weer aktief groei. Maak seker dat die teikenonkruide nog binne die voorgestelde groeistadiums is soos aangedui.• Tydelike gewasbeskadiging (verbleiking) mag voorkom onder uitermatige weerstoestande of wanneer die gewas onder stremmingstoestande verkeer a.g.v. onvoldoende of abnormale hoë vogtoestande of uitermatige temperature. GEBRUIKSAANWYSINGS: Gebruik slegs soos aangedui.5.1 Verenigbaarheid:MESO 480 SC is verenigbaar met METOLA 960 EC (L10127), ACETOCHLOR 700 EC (L10098), ATRASIEN 500 SC (L10074), PARAQUAT 200 SL (L10180). 5.2 Verdunningswater:Gebruik slegs skoon water en buffer met ‘n geregistreerde buffer.

5.3 Menginstruksies:Begin om die spuit- of mengtenk met skoon water vol te maak en aktiveer die roerder. Roer aanhoudend gedurende die meng- en toedieningsproses. Sodra die spuit- of mengtenk halfvol met water is, voeg MESO 480 SC stadig by en roer totdat dit volledig gedispergeer het. Wag vir ten minste een minuut nadat die laaste MESO 480 SC in die tenk gevoeg is om te verseker dat suspendering volledig plaasgevind het. ‘n Langer roerperiode mag nodig wees vir volledige suspendering van MESO 480 SC wanneer koue water gebruik word van bronne soos diep boorgate.

Wanneer in ‘n tenkmengsel gebruik word, moet die aanbevole produk na MESO 480 SC bygevoeg word. Voeg die adjuvant laaste by en maak die tenk vol met water tot by die verlangde volume terwyl aanhoudend geroer word.

5.4 Grondtoediening:• Gebruik slegs toedieningsapparaat in goeie werkende toestand. Verseker dat roering volgehou word totdat toediening voltooi is, selfs wanneer daar gestop word vir kort periodes. Indien roering gestop word vir meer as 5 minute, moet die spuitmengsel hersuspendeer word deur die roerder voluit te laat loop voordat toediening hervat word. MESO 480 SC moet op dieselfde dag wat die mengsel aangemaak is, toegedien word.• Dien toe deur middel van ‘n trekkergemonteerde spuitbalk wat korrek gekalibreer is met aanhoudende roering om ten minste 200 - 300 ℓ spuitmengsel / ha te lewer. Voorkom oorvleueling van spuitwydtes.• Die gebruik van 110° platwaaier hidroliese spuitne use word aanbeveel vir optimale bedekking.• Reën of besproeiing van 10 - 20 mm is nodig na toediening om die middel tot in die ontkiemingsone te loog.

5.5 LUGTOEDIENING:MESO 480 SC kan deur middel van lugbespuiting toegedien word mits die spuitstof egalig oor die teikengebied versprei word en die verlies aan spuitmiddel tydens toediening tot ‘n minimum beperk word. Ten einde hieraan te voldoen, moet die volgende vereistes nagekom word.Kan slegs deur ‘n geregistreerde Lugbespuitingsoperateur met ‘n korrek gekalibreerde, geregistreerde vliegtuig volgens die instruksies van SABS Kode 0118 (Aerial Application of Agricultural Pesticides) uit die lug bespuit word. Verseker dat die spuitmengsel eweredig oor die teikenarea versprei word, en die verlies aan spuitmengsel tydens toediening tot ‘n minimum beperk word. Dit is daarom belangrik om aan die volgende vereistes te voldoen:• Volume: ‘n Spuitmengsel volume van 30ℓ / ha word aanbeveel. Hierdie produk is nie teen ‘n verlaagde volume getoets nie. Die registrasiehouer kan nie effektiwiteit waarborg, of verantwoordelik gehou word vir enige nadelige effekte indien hierdie produk teen ‘n laer volume, as hierbo aanbeveel, toegedien word nie. • Druppelbedekking: 20 - 30 druppels / cm² moet op die teikenarea herwin word. • Druppelgrootte: ‘n Druppelspektrum met ‘n VMD van 350 - 400 mikron word aanbeveel. Beperk die produksie van druppels kleiner as 150 mikron (hoë drywing en verdampingspotensiaal) tot ‘n minimum.• Vlieghoogte: Handhaaf die hoogte van die spuitbalk bo die teiken op 3 - 4 m. Moet nie spuit wanneer die vliegtuig duik, uitklim of draai nie.• Gebruik geskikte atomiseringsapparaat wat die vereiste druppelgrootte en bedekking sal produseer, maar die minste verlies van produk verseker. Die spuitstelsel moet ‘n druppelspektrum met die kleinste moontlike Relatiewe Span produseer. • Plaas al die atomiseerders in die binneste 60 - 75 % van die vlerkspan om te verhoed dat druppels binne-in die vlerkpuntvorteks beweeg.• Die verskil in temperatuur tussen die nat- en droëboltermometer van ‘n swaaihigrometer, moet nie 8 °C oorskry nie. • Staak bespuiting indien die windspoed 15 km / h oorskry.• Staak bespuiting tydens turbulente, onstabiele en droë toestande gedurende die hitte van die dag.• Bespuiting onder temperatuur inversie toestande (deur bo of binne die inversie laag te spuit) en/of hoë lugvog toestande (relatiewe humiditeit 80 % en meer) mag tot volgende probleme aanleiding gee:• Verlaagde effektiwiteit aangesien die druppels as ‘n wolk in die lug bly hang en moontlik verdamp (onvoldoende bedekking op teiken).• Skade aan nie-teiken gewasse of sensitiewe areas as gevolg van wegdrywing van die spuitwolk na nie-teiken area.• Verseker dat die Lugbespuitingsoperateur presies weet watter lande bespuit moet word.• Dit is noodsaaklik om ‘n versekering van die Lugbespuitingsoperateur te verkry dat aan al die bogenoemde vereistes voldoen sal word en dat data van belang in ‘n logboek saamgevat is vir toekomstige verwysing.

5.6 Spilpunt toediening: (Slegs vooropkoms in mielies)MESO 480 SC en ACETOCHLOR 700 EC ckan met behulp van ‘n spilpunt toegedien word mits dit goed bestuur en onderhou word.

• Die spilpunt moet tussen 4,5 mm en 7,5 mm water toedien tydens die toediening van 265 ml. MESO 480 SC/ha en 2lt METOLACHLOR 800 EC/ha

• Effektiewe beheer van 56 dae sal verkry word waarna die opvolg bespuitings met behulp van ‘n gewone trekkerbespuiting gedoen moet word. • Bereken die toedieningstempo versigtig en verseker die korrektheid daarvan. • Dra sorg dat die toediening binne 2 dae van plant plaasvind. • Toedienings mag slegs geskied op lande wat goed voorberei is, ‘n goeie fyn saadbed het en waar geen ontkiemende of gevestigde onkruide voorkom nie. • Toedienings deur die spilpunt moet slegs gedoen word deur spilpunte wat toegerus is met geskikte toedieners. • Sodra die MESO 480 SC oor die hele area met die spilpunt toegedien is moet die volgende watervolumes toegedien word. • 10 mm water per ha by ‘n klei persentasie van < 20% • 15 mm water per ha by ‘n klei persentasie van 20 - 35% • 20 mm water per ha by ‘n klei persentasie van > 35% • Hou die grond nat vir ‘n periode van 7 - 14 dae na toediening. • Neem kennis dat die toediening van MESO 480 SC en METOLACHLOR 800 EC sal net so eenvormig toegedien wees soos die besproeiings eenvormigheid. • Moenie MESO 480 SC en METOLACHLOR 800 EC deur die spilpunt toedien in oormatige winderige toestande nie (< 6 ms-1).• Wees versigtig wanneer die spilpunt aan die einde van die toedieningsperiode oorvleuel met die beginpunt vir onnodige skade as gevolg van oordossering. • Wees versigtig tydens die toediening van MESO 480 SC en METOLACHLOR 800 EC deur die spilpunt aangesien onnodige stop en brekasies kan lei tot oordosering.• Dra sorg dat boorgate en damme nie gekontamineer word met chemikalië wat in toevoer pype en moederlyne teenwoordig mag wees nie. Die toediening van chemikalië moet verkieslik naby die spilpunt gedoen word. Beide die toedieningspomp en die waterpomp moet van kleppe voorsien wees wat toediening sal staak sodra die voorwaartse beweging van die spilpunt stelsel gestaak word. Die water toevoer pyp moet ook van ‘n klep voorsien word wat sal verhoed dat behandelde water sal terugvloei na die waterbron.

6. GEWASSE:6.1 Mielies:• Die toedieningshoeveelheid van MESO 480 SC word nie beïnvloed deur die kleipersentasie van die grond nie. • MESO 480 SC kan toegedien word in al die mieliekultivars wat huidiglik geplant word.• MESO 480 SC kan voor- of naopkoms van beide die gewas en onkruide toegedien word.• MESO 480 SC moet gedurende of onmiddellik na plant toegedien word op ‘n goed voorbereide onkruidvrye saadbed om eweredige vespreiding te verseker.• Indien MESO 480 SC toegedien word soos aangedui, kan beheer van ten minste 28 - 56 dae verwag word vir die onkruide soos gespesifiseer in die tabelle.
