DirectWomen Alumnae Added to BoardsLinda Addison (Class of 2012) was elected to the boardof KPMG LLP, one of the world's leading professionalservices firms, providing innovative business solutions andaudit, tax and advisory services to many of the world'slargest and most prestigious organizations. The pressrelease can be found here. This is Linda's second boardappointment. Earlier this year, she was appointed to the board of TorchmarkCorporation, where she serves on the Compensation Committee. Linda is theImmediate Past Managing Partner of Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP.
Jana Cohen Barbe (Class of 2016) was elected to theboard of Invitation Homes, a leading owner and operator ofsingle-family homes for lease. The press release can befound here.

Midwest Alumnae Gathering RecapOn November 13th DirectWomen Alumnae from across the Midwest gatheredin Chicago for an evening of networking and information sharing. DirectWomenAlumna Jen Wolfe (Class of 2012) gave an insightful and informativepresentation on Blockchain in the Boardroom and addressed what directorsneed to know. The discussion covered an overview of blockchaintechnology, smart contracts, and current blockchain use cases.
