Message from the President GROUNDS AND USE OF!
New Members:,Christine Torr. YH, Participation/Club dressage – Perfect weather, lovely horses. Thanks to the two sponsors – Shire Saddleworld & Jembrae Warmbloods for wonderful prizes. Results/photos further on in newsletter. Saddlery Market – Despite a wet night leading up to the market, by 6am the grounds were filling up with stalls and buyers. An enormous thank you to Chris who manned the gate and to Lorraine and John assisting me with the club BBQ. Unfortunately once a heavy cloud burst happened around 11am most people started packing up. We still ended up with 50 stalls and with the BBQ a profitable and socialable morning. Next market is October 26. New By Law The management committee is looking at introducing a new By-Law re use of grounds and violations of such. More details inside. Happy riding, Kay
A reminder to our members – only financial members can ride on the grounds. Unfortunately we are regularly finding uninsured people riding with members. Even if you have EA insurance, unless you a member you cannot ride on the grounds unless it is in a competition situation. Remember also your coach must have either EA insurance or own certificate of currency. Also lunging is only to be done in lunge yard or on sanded area nearby by, NOT IN DRESSAGE ARENAS. GROUNDS - Leanne Smith 0428 758 666 and/or Anna Flohr 0407 622 666 are the joint keepers of the sign AND changes over locks. Always check club FB for updates. If in doubt ring/text them. Please do not ring Kay

The management committee for awhile has been discussing how to deal with any members and/or coaches that do not follow the requirements of the club when it comes to use of the grounds regarding use of keys, allowing non-members to ride on the grounds, use of uninsured coaches as a few examples. Below is a proposed new By Law. This will be voted on at the June meeting – Wednesday 12th June at 6.30pm. Members are welcome to attend if they have any input or thoughts.
• 1st warning – verbal
• 2nd warning – written
• 3rd warning – At the discretion of the management committee. This penalty can range from loss of key for a period of time to deferring membership for a certain period of time, depending on the severity of the infringement.
• Committee to keep a record
ON PROPOSED NEW BY LAW AS BELOW
