Message of His Holiness Pope Francis
Wednesday, June 3, 2020
“Dear brothers and sisters in the United States, I have
witnessed with great concern the disturbing social unrest
in your nation in these past days, following the tragic
death of Mr. George Floyd.
My friends, we cannot tolerate or turn a blind eye to
racism and exclusion in any form and yet claim to defend
the sacredness of every human life. At the same time, we
have to recognize that “the violence of recent nights is
self-destructive and self-defeating. Nothing is gained by violence and so
much is lost.
Today I join the Church in Saint Paul and Minneapolis, and in the entire
United States, in praying for the repose of the soul of George Floyd and of
all those others who have lost their lives as a result of the sin of racism.
Let us pray for the consolation of their grieving families and friends and
let us implore the national reconciliation and peace for which we yearn.
May Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of America, intercede for all those
who work for peace and justice in your land and throughout the world.
May God bless all of you
and your families.”

Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity
June 7, 2020
The feast of the Most Holy Trinity may well be regarded as the
Church's Te Deum of gratitude over all the blessings of the Christmas
and Easter seasons; for this mystery is a synthesis of Christmas, Epipha-
ny, Easter, Ascension and Pentecost.
This feast, which falls on the first Sunday after Pentecost, should make
us mindful that actually every Sunday is devoted to the honor of the
Most Holy Trinity, that every Sunday is sanctified and consecrated to
the triune God. Sunday after Sunday we should recall in a spirit of
gratitude the gifts which the Blessed Trinity is bestowing upon us.
The Father created and predestined us; on the first day of the week He
began the work of creation. The Son redeemed us; Sunday is the "Day
of the Lord," the day of His resurrection. The Holy Spirit sanctified us, made us His temple; on
Sunday the Holy Spirit descended upon the infant Church. Sunday, therefore, is the day of the
Most Holy Trinity. (from catholicculture.org)
Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit;
to God who is, who was, and who is to come.

Census UpdateReRegistration of ALL parishioners
We are asking EVERYONE in the parish TO REREGISTER. During these day of social distancing
we’re working on updating the parish census. Please return the Parish Registration form with any up-
dated information on family or member status. We have also found that we have numerous incorrect
phone numbers and addresses for many of our parishioners. Please call the Parish office with any
questions or concerns.
Celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi with the Universal Church
Since the very first in 1881, Eucharistic Conferences have been a staple in the Church for
spreading the rich teaching of our Catholic Faith on the Real Presence.
With belief in the real presence waning in our Church, our prayer is that this Virtual Eucha-
ristic Conference may touch the hearts of the faithful and inspire a deepening devotion to
Christ in the Eucharist.
While a virtual conference could never replace receiving Jesus in Holy Communion, or sitting
in His physical presence in adoration, we know that these incredible presentations and testi-
monials will inspire all who listen to a greater appreciation of Christ in the Eucharist.
