Ladies and Gentlemen, respected fellow co-religionists and the participants of the 11th World Zoroastrian Congress, and the honorable and diligent organizers of this World Congress, thank you for your presence, consideration, and sense of collaboration. I’m bringing my message from Iran, from the Land of noble men and women, from the sanctified Land, from the true- hearted people, from the birthplace of Ashu Zaratushthra, the first Messenger of monotheism. I’m carrying my message from the Land which stands as firm as Mount Damavand with such cultural heritage as Mehregan and Norooz, from the Land of Arash and Cyrus the great, from Ahura-blessed Iran, the birthplace of Zoroastrians who have persevered wholeheartedly to flourish this Land. I submit my message to you, the honored audience, fragranced with utmost joy, love and affection. The very honorable and exemplary history and culture of Zoroastrians is rooted in and has originated from no other place than Iran. Iran is the motherland of Zoroastrians. Zoroastrians and Parsees like Manokji and Markar (May both rest in peace) who endeavored to extend and flourish such a great history and culture. We, likewise, must try to maintain and step up our identity since life and advancement would be futile regardless of a genuine identity. It is to be reiterated that: “May I be sacrificed in preventing any loss to Iran” We, Zoroastrians, wherever we live, are members of a family. The 11th World Zoroastrian Congress provides a stupendous opportunity to explain and reconsider the aspirations of this monotheist religion and to dialogue on the three basic principles of Good Thoughts, Good Words and Good Deeds. It helps us recognize and gain knowledge on these progressive principles of human life as well as sense of spirituality and perfectionism. I thank God for bestowing upon me, on the occasion of this spiritual gathering, the pleasure of reiterating my respect to you and hope that we can step towards the guardianship of kindness, good thoughts, and good deeds.The monotheist Persians, with their features of rationality, open-mindedness and conscientiousness, for long, have pursued their noble intentions in addition to justice and have rightly endeavored to disseminate them. He, who dared to point out the evil practices based on Lies and deceit, harmful to living beings, and who brought forth a Religion based on the understanding of the rules governing the universe, created by a sole and unique, All Wise, Creator.His knowledge evolved from insights gained as a result of answer found by His Good Mind, while searching for the Basics of Creation, through Ahura Mazda (The All Wise Creator). His Teachings are compiled, briefly and to the

point, within The Gathas (Songs) of Zarathushtra. Revelations and Teachings which, after millennia passage of time, appear up to date and scientific: as acclaimed by worlds well-known researchers. His Religion teaches A Good Life based on Righteousness and fight with evil as well as falsehood. His Teachings can be a good solution to the majority of the problems that face our Community and worldwide.Our Praise, also, go to the Community Leaders and Priests who, throughout the trouble filled history of our Religion, have strived to guard and maintain the high ethical and humanitarian standards as set by our Religion. Organized consultative bodies (Anjumans), by our community leaders, and Ritual techniques, maintained by our priests have helped to keep our Religion secured and up to date.
The Council of Iranian Mobeds consider, as highly praiseworthy, the periodical efforts of our community well wishers in bringing together our worldwide Community leaders and diasporas to get together so is to discuss and arrive at the best solutions for the likely problems of our community welfare as well to instill a better and up to date understanding of the Messages of our Prophet Zarathushtra.We, sincerely, Pray that your pious efforts in arranging for consultative Round Tables of experts and scholarly speeches: you will lead this year›s World Zoroastrian Congress to come out with, AND STRICTLY IMPLEMENT, Resolutions that will further instill our true Religious Ideals, especially into our youths, and bring about a strong bonding and Hamazoory between our worldwide Community

I express my heartfelt congratulations on holding the 11th World Zoroastrian Congress and wish success for all its diligent organizers and the respected participants of this gathering. The meeting of the followers of Great Ashu-Zarathushthra who spread the monotheism in the world is a matter of pride for Iranians. Iran has been the first land of Zoroastrians and is the birthplace of Ashu-Zarathushthra, the prophet of goodness and beneficence. The continuous presence of Zoroastriansim in Iran has exerted its influence on the followers of other divine religions in areas of culture and civilization. Iranians are followers of the only God and Zoroastrianism is a divine religion whose roots are firmly established with Islam and other monotheistic religions.Today’s world, more than ever, is in need of morality, especially the moral teachings of Ashu-Zarathushthra. “Good thoughts”, “Good Words” and “Good Deeds” are the teachings which the world should be more heedful of. These remind us that our deeds and actions are offshoots of our thoughts and initially our thinking should be rectified since it is only with good thoughts that we can achieve
good words and good deeds.Zoroaster, the messenger of righteousness and truth, always emphasizes that we must avoid evils and fallible so as to attain a life filled with glory and prosperity. Historically, such a teaching has always been of attention and preeminence in the land of Iran and in a way has provided the foundation for Iranian philosophy and thinking. Such a philosophy has later emerged in the viewpoints of different Iranian scholars such as Avicenna, Suhrawardi, Rumi and Hafez. As a result, Iranian culture is closely intertwined with the Zoroastrian morality and way of thinking. The rites of valor and gallantry are among the most characteristic of all Iranians of any ethnicity. We should acknowledge these common roots that bind us all together and shape our conducts and behavior.I hope that such gatherings can propagate the message of this great religion to the whole world. In the end, I pledge my sincerest salutations and felicitations to all the world Zoroastrians especially the Parsees of India and wish them all bliss and prosperity.

برگــزاري یازدهمیــن کنگــره جهاني زرتشــتیان فرصــت مغتنــم و شایســته اي در جهــت تبییــن و بازخوانــي آرمانهــاي ایــن دین توحیــدی یعني ــه ــار نیــک و کردارنیــک ب اندیشــه نیــک، گفتشــناخت و معرفــت دربــاره ایــن اصــول مترقــي حیــات بشــر و حــس کمــال جویــي و معنویــت
اســت. خداونــد بــزرگ را سپاســگزارم کــه بــه مناســبت ایــن گردهمایــي معنــوي توفیــق یافتــم مراتــب احتــرام خویــش را بــه شــما ادا کــرده و بتوانیــم ــي و نیــک گامــي در جهــت پاسداشــت مهربان
رفتــاري و اندیشــه پــاک برداریــم. ایرانیــان یکتاپرســت از دیربــاز بــا آزاد اندیشــي، عقلانیــت و بــا وجدانــي پــاک بــه دنبــال حــق و آرمــان هــاي نیــک بودنــد و در گســترش آن بــه درســتي کوشــیده انــد. گفتگــوي پیــروان ادیــان الهــي بــا نــگاه انســاني و آمــوزه هــاي بــر آمــده از دیــن در شــناخت معرفــت و گســترش آرامش
و اخــلاق همــواره شایســته تقدیــر اســت.
ایــن گفتگوهــا مــي تواند زمینــه ســازندگي پیوند خــورده بــا صلــح و ثبــات جهانــي بــدون تنــش و بــا نگاهــي تــوام بــا اعتــدال و برابــري باشــد کــه هــدف ادیــان الهــي نیــز بــر همیــن مــدار اســت.

ــي زرتشــتیان ــن کنگــره جهان ــزاري یازدهمی برگرا صمیمانــه تبریــک مــی گویــم و بــراي تمامــي ــدرکاران ــت ان ــد و دس ــدگان ارجمن ــرکت کنن شســختکوش آن آرزوي توفیــق دارم. نشســت پیروان اشوزرتشــت بــزرگ کــه یکتاپرســتی را در جهــان گســترش داد، مایــه مباهــات ایرانیــان اســت. ایــران زادگاه اشوزرتشــت، پیــام آور نیکــي هــا و خوبــي ها و ســرزمین نخســت زرتشــتیان بوده اســت و حضور مســتمر دین زرتشــتی در ایــران، نقــش تاثیرگذاري بــر پیــروان آییــن الهي در گســتره فرهنــگ و تمدن داشــته اســت. ایرانیــان پیــرو خداونــد یکتــا و آییــن زرتشــت هــم یــک دین آســمانی اســت که ریشــه هــای آن بــا اســلام و دیگــر ادیــان توحیدی محکم
و اســتوار اســت.جهــان امــروز بیــش از گذشــته نیازمند آمــوزه های ــت. ــت اس ــای زرتش ــوزه ه ــه آم ــی از جمل اخلاقــک«، ــک« و »پندارنی ــک«، »کردارنی ــار نی »گفتــه آن آمــوزه ای اســت کــه امــروزه جهــان بایــد بــار و ــه رفت ــوزه اشــاره دارد ک ــن آم ــد. ای توجــه کنــد ــت و اول بای ــا اس ــدار م ــر از پن ــا متاث ــردار م کتفکــر و پنــدار خویــش را اصــلاح کنیــم زیــرا فقــط بــا پندارنیــک اســت کــه مــی تــوان گفتــار و کــردار
نیــک داشــت.
زرتشــت کــه پیــام آور پاکی و راســتی اســت همواره ــد از پلیــدی هــا و ناپاکــی هــا ــد دارد کــه بای تاکیاجتنــاب کنیــم تــا زندگی ما سرشــار از خیــر و نیکی شــود. ایــن آمــوزه در سراســر تاریــخ ایــن ســرزمین مــورد توجــه و تاکیــد بــوده اســت. بــه نوعــی بنیان و ذات اندیشــه و فلســفه ایرانــی را فراهــم آورده اســت و همیــن فلســفه اســت کــه بعــدا در دیــدگاه اندیشــمندان مختلــف، از ســهروردی و بوعلی ســینا گرفتــه تــا حافــظ و مولانــا متجلــی شــده اســت. در نتیجــه فرهنــگ ایرانــی بــا آمــوزه هــا و تفکــر زرتشــتی عجین شــده و آیین فتوت و جوانمــردی و پــاک دلــی، از جمله خصوصیــات بارز همــه ایرانیان از هــر قــوم و نــژادی گشــته اســت. مــا باید قــدردان ایــن ریشــه هــای مشــترک باشــیم کــه همه مــا را بــا یکدیگــر پیونــد مــی بخشــد و کــردار و رفتــار ما
را شــکل مــی دهــد.امیــدوارم چنیــن گردهمایــی هایــی بتواند پیــام این دیــن بــزرگ را بــه همــه جهــان برســاند. در پایــان لازم اســت بــه همــه زرتشــتیان جهــان بــه ویــژه ــان ــه آن ــرای هم ــد درود فرســتم و ب ــیان هن پارس

فرهنــگ و تاریــخ زرتشــتیان بســیار پرافتخــار و ــه ــی اســت و ریشــه و خاســتگاهی ب ــال زدن مثــادری ــرزمین م ــران س ــدارد. ای ــران ن ــر از ای غیزرتشــتیان اســت، زرتشــتیان و پارســیانی همچون شــادروان مانکجــی و مــارکار، کــه برای پیشــرفت و گســترش آن کوشــیدند و بایــد کوشــید، چــون ــی و ــت و زندگ ــت ماس ــی از هوی ــش مهم بخــدارد و ــا ن ــی، معن ــت واقع ــدون هوی پیشــرفت ب
همیشــه بایــد تکــرار کــرد کــه:چو ایران نباشد تن من مباد
مــا زرتشــتیان در هــر کجــا کــه زندگــی می کنیم، یــک خانــواده هســتیم. زبــان، خــط، آداب، ســنت هــا، میــراث ملمــوس و به ویــژه میــراث ناملموس مــا زرتشــتیان، روح و روان مــا اســت. اعتبــار مــا و هویــت ماســت. نکتــه ارزشــمندی کــه همــه باید در ســرلوحه کاری خــود قــرار دهنــد، ایــن اســت کــه بزرگترین ســرمایه زرتشــتیان، نیروی انســانی و بخصــوص جوانــان آن می باشــند. همــگان باید در توســعه و رشــد این ســرمایه ارزشــمند بکوشند.
آمــوزش درســت بــر مبنــای آمــوزه هــای اشوزرتشــت اســپنتمان، اســتفاده بهتــر از ســرمایه ــادی در ــرمایه م ــری س ــوی و بکارگی ــای معن هــرد ــد. راهب ــا باش ــد راه گش ــیر می توان ــن مس ایمهــم بــرای آن نیــز، بکارگیــری تمــام ظرفیــت هــای جامعــه زرتشــتیان در سراســر جهــان بــرای
افزایــش ارزشــمندی نیــروی انســانی اســت. بــا هــم بــودن، بــا هــم فکــر کــردن و در شــرایط ــرد ــن راهب ــز ای ــودن، رم ــم ب ــار ه ــخت، کن سخواهــد بــود. امیــدوارم ایــن نــگاه، در تمــام برنامه هــای اجتماعــی در نظــر گرفتــه شــود. امیــدوارم.
