FEATURES OF
• Rotex metal seated ball valves are designed and manufactured for high cyclic zero-leak applications.• The are perfectly matched with the ball, where both seats are lapped simultaneously to ensure “true” match of curvature on both seats. • Rotex ball and seat are HVOF coated. However different applications require harder or softer coatings and Rotex has an array of suggestions for the same.

FEATURES
STEM• Burnished stem for low torque and extremely long life• Design conforms to fugitive emission standards• Stem drive dimensions adhere to ISO 5211 for ease in direct mounting• Dual anti static system assures safety
GLAND SEAL• Unique Graphite sealing for high temperature applications• V-packing for low friction for normal temperature media• Gland packing is lifetime loaded by spring, eliminating the need for re- tightening
DUAL BODY SEAL• Combination of soft and Graphite body seal ensures zero leak• Dual Graphite seals for high temperature applications
VALVE MOUNTING• Floating ball valves are direct mount as per ISO 5211• Eliminates coupler and hence ensures perfect alignment• Eliminates bracket and hence ensures rigid mounting of actuator• For high temperature applications, a bracket and coupler may be required to prevent the actuator from exceeding the working temperature
STEM EXTENSION• Gland packing provided on top of the stem extension - Most manufacturers provide gland packing on the valve body. Due to this the gland packing system remains inside the pipe insulation. Hence, while doing any maintenance the insulation has to be disturbed or removed. This is completely avoided by using ROTEX Valves. This design also provides better stem sealing, as the packing is relocated away from the temperature of the process.

• Excellent resistance to wear and corrosion• Ideal for steam service, catalyst handling and coal gasification• Withstands high temperatures and high pressures• Natural lubricating properties (columnar structure)• Provides uniform coating
HARD CHROMIUM
• Thickness of 0.25 – 1000 microns• Extremely hard• Low coefficient of friction• Very high resistance to corrosion• Good wear resistance• Ideal for high cyclic applications• Ideal for use with clean liquids and gases, low temperature hydrocarbons, abrasive and corrosive solutions
