How to organise the lesson The teacher prepares working places with computers and electric panels. Teacher makes a demonstration about how the soft works for making a diagram and for simulation. The demonstration shows how an electric motor starts. Than teacher asks to the students to design a circuit for reversing the sense of rotation. Teacher use first time for demonstration the software with the MENU in ROMANIAN language! Materials Electrical devices like: fuses, contactors, overload relays, cables, computers with specialized software, and technical dictionaries. The software has two different versions. One version with the MENU in ROMANIAN and the other one in ENGLISH are installed on the computer. Classroom organisation / group formation The class is divided in small groups with an equal number of students and one student from each group has good skills in ENGLISH language. Task to be performed by the students Before Students have to remember how the main electric devices work and thinking about how the new circuit should be designed. During Students assist at the teacher demonstration and than they handle the software to make the same exercise without teacher help, using discussion inside the group. One student from the group makes a short glossary with the MENU from ROMANIAN language in ENGLISH. The last step is to make the circuit and simulation for the reverse sense of rotation by using the software version in ENGLISH. (The glossary is very helpful for this task) After In each group students make oral exercises in order to be able for a right pronunciation in ENGLISH. Assessment Each group make a simulation of the designed circuit for reversing sense of the motor. Students give explanations and pronounce in ENGLISH the words of the software MENU and the elements of circuit.

Fall pits and remarks - Students get more skills on using the software in ENGLISH version, so they get a great flexibility to work in international teams.

- Around 80-85% of time students use ROMANIAN language and 15-20% TECHNICAL ENGLISH.
