• QUESTION- PAUSE - NOMINATE - PUT THE QUESTION TO THE WHOLE CLASS, ALLOW SUFFICIENT TIME FOR EVERY STUDENT TO THINK ABOUT IT, THEN NOMINATE A STUDENT TO ANSWER. THIS STOPS STUDENTS FROM SWITCHING OFF.
