UPAEP Summer Spanish Immersion Program

Description

• UPAEP-DELC and the Office of International Programs offer the Spanish Immersion Program (SIP) to individuals who want to experience a total immersion in Spanish language and Mexican culture.

• Throughout SI Program you will learn Spanish from within a Spanish-speaking culture. While living in Mexico, you will take part in many social activities organized by us, travel to touristic and Colonial-era sites, learn about Mexican History and culture, and stay with a Mexican family.

• Scheduled Sessions• Summer 2012: May 26st – June 30th• Tuition Fees• Normal payment Schedule is due before May 6th fee is $2,850 US Dollars

DUAL DEGREE MASTER PROGRAM OSU - UPAEP

Description

Dual master’s programs are divided in three phases: First phase at the “home university” OSU: Participating students spend one

year at the home institution, taking 6-8 courses (typically from 15 to 24 American credit hours; 30-56 Mexican credit hours).

Second phase at the partner university UPAEP: An adviser is assigned to each

student at the host university. With the aid of the adviser, the participating student spend one year at the host institution, taking the required course work to complete the degree requirements at the host university.

Third phase at either university, thesis. In order to earn a degree, the Student must complete the degree requirements of each pertinent institution, including the writing of a thesis or the successful completion of a “capstone” course or a comprehensive exam (depends on the program).
