Paul McCartney/MPL Communications

Creative Design | Visual Design

NetTemple was contracted by Redline Media to provide creative direction and visual design for the Paul McCartney and

MPL Communications Websites and interactive CD-ROM. A series of over one hundred screens of digital comps and

illustrations were produced from wireframes provided by the Redline Media interaction staff.

Wood Diary

The Wood Diary project is a great example of how technology has changed

filmmaking and illustrates what a single individual can accomplish with a desktop

computer, digital camera, vision and a great story. I conceived Wood Diary as a

total creative exploration. It is inspired by true events, and tells of an outsider

artist and how he lived his final years. Wood Diary became a quest to find the

truth in which, interviews, paintings, photographs, sculpture, music and artistic

collaborations were spawned.




Whirlpool Interactive

NetTemple produced an interactive application for

Whirlpool/Kenmore. The interactive application presented

all of the features and benefits of their new microwave

technology, it informed consumers on proper care and

cleaning, provided instructional support and even included

a series of interactive step-by-step recipes. The application

was packaged and available with all microwaves, as well as

accessible via a Web download.




NetTemple.net

Creative Design | Programming

NetTemple.net is my personal professional brand. This is the

umbrella under which all of my freelance work is performed.

The objective of this site is to communicate my services, present

a mini portfolio, and provide viewers a easy means in which to

contact me. It is constructed using a single php page with CSS,

Javascript and JQuery.




Bayer - OnCueNetTemple was contracted by Extend Interactive to produce high-fidelity comps for the ONCue

Web initiative. ONCue was a complete CRM (customer relations management) system that served

Bayer sales associates and pharmaceutical reps. The system allowed associates to share information,

best practices and successful ventures in communication and selling of the Bayer brand.




Game Response

Game Response was a personal venture and partnership with Research

Systems, Inc (Evansville, IN) that proposed the tracking, data mining and focus

group testing for in-game advertising. My responsibilities and contributions

included creative direction, brand identity and overall Web development.




DDO Artist Agency, Liquified Media, LLC.

NetTemple was contracted by Liquifeid Media (Jersey City, NJ) for creative direction and

visual design for the DDO Agency. Website A series of roughs were presented, then fine-tuned

into a series of high-fidelity comps.




Genentech/Novartis Xolair

NetTemple was contracted by Extend Interactive to design and produce interactive

educational content for Genentech USA, Inc. and Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation.

All work used time-based animation with selective points of interaction through the use

of checkpoint quizzes and reviews.




MusicPax

MusicPax in a project currently in progress in which users can create

digital and interactive albums through an online interface. Users upload

MP3s, photos and links, click a button and the result is a downloadable

self-contained EXE file.




ZenBinder.com

ZenBinder is a content management system that I have designed from the ground up. Simply put,

ZenBinder is a complete micro-site Web solution with a password protected area that allows

you to easily update content on your Website. ZenBinder is quite simply the easiest content

management solution on the planet. Elementary students are among our favorite users. No html,

CSS or other coding knowledge is required to maintain content or change the look of your site.




EP3 Michael Bublé

NetTemple was contracted by QMSE/Pypeline

(Hawaii) to produce an embedded micro site

for Warner recording artist Michael Bublé. The

EP3 file type is a new and innovative format for

distributing digital media and music. More can be

Jonathan Salinas

This was Jonathan’s first Website. The assignment required a simple

table-based Web architecture with all CSS embedded in-line. Follow up

assignments migrated the students to global CSS-drive layouts and global

style sheets.

Kent Chang

SCAD worked in partnership with Gulfstream

Aerospace Corporation to develop user

interface designs for their onboard remote

control device. The software was to be used

on Nokia personal handheld devices and

controlled the comfort and entertainment

options of the G5 Personal Aircraft.

The top set illustrates a progressive drill

down to control comfort options such as the

lighting, cabin temperature, window shades

and seating.

The bottom set presents the options for

controlling the onboard DVD monitor and

movie library.

The entire visual branding and complete

human-computer interaction was handled

and presented by myseld and students to

Gulfstream executives.

to develop user interface designs for their onboard remote control

This time, the target platform was the iPhone. Complete visual comps

Julie Lin

In this project, students were to design and produce

a “single-page” portfolio Website. All content was

required to appear when called, without navigating

to additional pages. This was an exercise using

Adobe Flash and loading content dynamically into

an existing movie.

Malik Francois

This assignment required students to develop an

online portfolio, showcasing their overall body of

work. Malik was strong in both traditional fine art

and interactive design. He designed a site strategy

comprised of a resume and two main areas -

Fine Art and Graphic Art which showcased his

strengths in each.

The site was designed using Adobe Illustrator and

Photoshop and the created in Adobe Flash using

Actionscript.

Hyung Kim

This Website design was created by student Hyung Kim at the graduate

level. Students were required to create a Website that featured a

noteable comptempory artist or designer. Many times my assignments

require subject matter that is directly related to student development

and understanding. So instead of developing a Website for a relative or

a non-related subject, I attempt to converge production, theory and

content for a more compelling educational experience.

Umyot Boonmarlart

This graduate assignment called for the daunting task of redesigning

the Google human-computer interaction and user experience. Students

were not required to redesign the logo or branding, rather the goal-

based experience that users demand. The emphasis was on meeting the

objectives of users in the most efficent and pleasing way possible.

This interaction was architected using MS Sketchflow and a prototype

was constructed using Adobe Flash.
