There are many things to see and do in Rome. There are historical sites, monuments, and museums that are located there and amazing views to

see. One place is Vatican City which is

home to the Pope and many museums. Also there is the historical structure; The Colosseum, which was

on of Rome’s major spots for entertainment during the Roman Empire. It still stands today and would be an amazing site to see. Another amazing thing to see in

Rome is the Trevi Fountain, which is known to be the most beautiful

collection of fountains in all of Rome. It was used to transport water to the

center of Rome (old Rome). Colosseum

The Pantheon is another major building and was the largest dome in the world for over 13 centuries,

New York City is one of the top American cities in the country

and one of the biggest too. It has many spectacular attractions to

see and would never forget.One of these amazing sites would

be the Statue of Liberty which was given to the U.S from France over 100 year ago to celebrate the

100 years that the U.S was independent. It stands at 305 feet tall and can be toured from the

inside.

Another place to see would be the Brooklyn Bride which is one of the most well known bridges in the United States. Built in the late 1800’s, it is said to be one of the most magnificent landmarks in all of New York City. One other historical site in New York City is Grant’s Tomb. This is where the well-known Union Civil War general Ulysses S. Grant and his wife are entombed. And in 1897 it was opened as the largest tomb in the United States. Grant was know as a war hero and was the able to defeat the Confederacy to end the Civil War.
