Example B) Attack, Move, Attack Dan chooses to use the Firefly’s special ability of Attack, Move, Attack. The Firefly takes an additional Target Declaration Phase and Shooting Phase before normal turn phases begin. After Shooting Phase is complete, the next player starts their turn as usual on Moving Phase. SET UP REQUIRED TERRAIN 15x Orchard Terrain - 8 studs x 4 studs UNITS Designate one Tiger Tank to be Micheal Wittmann’s by placing a colored stud on top of his tank. OBJECTIVE In this scenario, the Allied player will attempt to use positioning, orchard cover, and the Firefly’s special abilities to destroy all of the enemy tanks. The German player will attempt to flush out and destroy all of the enemy tanks. SCENARIO SPECIFIC RULES - Allies start. - Tiger Tanks cannot fit between two Orchard Terrain pieces. - Wittmann’s tank can choose to target terrain instead of an enemy vehicle. Player must roll an even number on one (dx6) to successfully destroy target. This will open gaps large enough for the Tiger to travel through. - Firefly Tanks can choose to use a special ability. Either: A) Move, Attack, Move or B) Attack, Move, Attack. Example A) Move, Attack, Move Dan chooses to use the Firefly’s special ability of Move, Attack, Move. He plays the phases of his turn as normal. Once all of his vehicles have finished their Shooting Phase, his Firefly then gets an additional Move Phase. Michael Wittmann Ambush Scenario 8 2 PLAYERS Survive the Ambush in the Orchard and Destroy all Enemy Tanks On August 8, 1944, Panzer Commander Michael Wittmann and a small group of Tiger tanks were ambushed by Allied Fireflies and Shermans near the French village of Saint-Aignan-de-Cramesnil. The Allies opened fire on the Germans from the cover of an orchard. The resulting Firefly ambush destroyed all of the Tiger tanks, killing Wittmann in the process.
