IPG’s Micro-Multi-Axis Workcell is a highly cost effective laser processing station designed for either dedicated part processing or R&D use. The narrow enclosure and vertically operating door occupy minimum space in production environments. The two-stage-door provides full front and side access for part loading with extended travel available for set-up and engineering operations. The unit is easily mounted to an adjustable pedestal to accommodate operator ergonomics.

Built from high-quality industrial components and having stepper motor drives for positioning accuracy, the system is compatible with IPG’s maintenance-free fiber lasers up to 500 W average power. The high pulse energy and high peak power of the QCW laser enables welding, cutting and drilling of a wide range of material types including steel, aluminum and alloys.

The Micro-Multi-Axis is easily programmed for complex and intricate processing and is typically operated using front-panel controls that provide a simple interface requiring minimal training. The Workcell, fiber laser and processing head are designed, manufactured and supported by IPG – your partner for precision laser processing systems.
