ABOUT COMPUDON 2011“COMPUDON 2011” is INDIA’s 1st Ever Official Championship on Microsoft Office, which will be testing students' skills through Microsoft® Office Specialist (MOS) certification exam on any one application from Microsoft Office Word, Excel® and PowerPoint®. The 5 India Champions (1 each in Word/Excel®/PowerPoint® 2007 & Word/Excel® 2010) will represent India and compete at the Worldwide Competition organized by Certiport between July 31, 2011 - August 03, 2011 in San Diego (USA).

COMPUDON INSTITUTE PARTICIPATION KIT Each COMPUDON 2011 participating Institute will get a “COMPUDON Institute Participation Kit” which will include the following: Mock tests – Certiprep - for Institute’s lab where students can practice

for the exam – Certiprep valid till June 30, 2011 Up to 02 MOS exam vouchers per institution for Coordinators/Faculty COMPUDON 2011 Participation Plaque from Microsoft (for institutes

with minimum 50 students participation) COMPUDON 2011 Posters for display in the Institution.

COMPETITION LEVELS1st Level: Will take place at participating Institutes’ computer labs between May 1 - May 07, 2011. Institutions who wish to conduct exams prior to the above dates, may do so in consultation with CyberLearning.

2nd Level: Top 500 students (across India) from QUALIFYING MOS CERTIFICATION EXAMS will be invited to participate at 2nd level exam (total 4,000 students). The 2nd level exam will take place at pre-selected Authorized Exam centers in select cities on May 21, 2011. List of locations will be released by May 10, 2011.

3rd & Final Level (National): Top 25 Students from each application (Word, Excel® and PowerPoint®), total 75, (regardless of version) will compete in 3rd & final level. The candidates will appear for the 3rd level on June 05, 2011 in New Delhi.

COMPUDON 2011 – OFFICIAL RULESPlease read the Compudon 2011 Rules governing this competition before entering. By opting to participate in Compudon 2011, participants agree to be governed by the Compudon 2011 Rules as given below.

GENERAL RULES:• The competition participation fee has to be paid in the requisite amount by way of current dated cheque/draft in favor of

“India CYBERLEARNING Pvt. Ltd.” payable at New Delhi/Noida. Any cash to be deposited should be done so in the bank accounts of “India CYBERLEARNING Pvt. Ltd.” Account number available on request. CYBERLEARNING hereby disclaims any and all responsibility if the cash is paid by any other means except as stated above

• Participants, if they are entering into a contract being eligible to do so, and Parents of participants who are not eligible to enter in to a contract, by participating in the competition expressly agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless CYBERLEARNING, its employees, its associates, partners, sponsors and principals from any and all claims or liability to any third party from loss, damage or injury to persons or property based on or in any manner arising out of their participation in the competition. They further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CYBERLEARNING, its employees, its associates, partners, sponsors and principals of and from any claims by or liability to any third party for any loss, damage, or injury to persons or property arising from the breach of any of testing center’s obligations in keeping the Examinee data as confidential.

• No substitution/transfer/assignment of prize by any winner is permitted. The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.

• All materials submitted become the sole property of CYBERLEARNING and will not be returned. False and/or deceptive entries or similar acts shall render entrants ineligible to continue to participate or win the Competition. Except where prohibited, student participation in the Competition constitutes entrant’s consent to publication of his/her name, photograph(s), Exam score(s), and city/state/country location on the Competition website and other Competition publicity without limitation or compensation.

• Potential winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form within 10 days of attempted notification. Noncompliance may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. If necessary due to unavailability, a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded at the discretion of CYBERLEARNING.

• National Champions must be available to travel to USA to participate in the 2011 Worldwide Competition on Microsoft Office, being held during July 31st – August 3rd in San Diego (USA). All travelers must execute a Release of Liability prior to ticketing and must possess required travel documents (e.g. valid photo I.D., passport, visa, etc.) prior to trip, which will be the responsibility of the participants/their parents. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for CYBERLEARNING and/or their agencies to use winner’s name, Exam score(s), and city/state/country location for purposes of advertising and promotion without any compensation, unless, but only to the extent, prohibited by law.

• All prizes sent to winners will only be available in the fashion selected by CYBERLEARNING. CYBERLEARNING is not responsible for incomplete/lost/late/damaged/illegible/misdirected entries or incomplete telephone calls, faulty transmissions, recordings, malfunctions, for technical/hardware/software failures/lost/unavailable network connections, delivery failure or delay, or failed/incomplete/garbled/delayed/faulty computer transmission.

• CYBERLEARNING reserves the right to cancel/modify the Competition at its discretion and/or disqualify entrant if fraud/ misconduct/technical failures destroy the integrity of Competition as determined solely by CYBERLEARNING.

• Winners assume all liability for any injury/damage/loss caused/claimed to be caused, by participation in or acceptance and use of prize.

ELIGIBILITY: • Employees of CYBERLEARNING, its affiliates, and

partners are not eligible. • When participating in the Competition, participants

must be students currently enrolled in an approved academic institution recognized by the State/Centre in which it operates.

• To compete in COMPUDON 2011, students must be between the ages of 13 and 22 (as of June 15, 2011 6:59 AM Greenwich Mean Time). When students are participating through their institution, then verification of student age and student status per School/College records is the responsibility of the institution and should be provided to CYBERLEARNING. For participants who are participating independently, identification and verification of the student age and student status is the responsibility of the respective Partner. CYBERLEARNING reserves the right to verify any of the student records at any stage. If at any stage, it is found that the student status or age of the participant has been misrepresented, then the participant will be disqualified and he/she will not be allowed to participate any further. Exam(s) must be uploaded into the Certiport exam administration system by an approved Certiport Authorized Testing Center.
