VENUE WORKS, AND ADD-ONSANNUAL SURFACE MAINTENANCE During the annual closure period our much used sports courts received some well-earned TLC in the form of relacquering and repainting. The surface maintenance ensures our courts are of a competition standard and adhering to safety requirements.

DISABLED TOILET & EXTERNAL FOOTPATH The final touches have now been installed on the new disabled toilet block. Alterations to the access footpath and external door have now been complete. This project was required to ensure the venue remains compliant regarding disabled accessibility.

BELMONT MARKETOUTSTANDING COMMITMENT – MARK BENTLEY & JAMES ERVACINOVIC BVAC Venue Management would like to recognize the outstanding commitment displayed by Belmont Market staff members Mark Bentley and James Ervacinovic. There was 49 Belmont Market events held in 2018 and of these markets Mark worked an incredible 48 markets, only missing 1 due to illness. James on the other hand, joined the Belmont Market team at the beginning of July and worked in all of the remaining 25 markets in 2018. Both Mark and James play vital roles in the smooth delivery of the Belmont Market and are very valued team members.

We would also like to recognize all other CoGG staff involved in the market who get up early on Sunday mornings to help deliver one of the most popular weekend markets in the region. Event work can often be demanding, but it is great experience for those seeking to challenge their decision making, customer service and team work abilities. BVAC Venue Management are looking forward to developing our market team even further in 2019!
