MDM was not served in few schools of all these three districts on
Saturdays as per the instruction of Local Authority. No meal was served during the day of visit if few schools due to non
availability of food grains, cooking cost and poor attendance. 02 primary schools namely (Inda Primary School & Bal Ram Dihi
G.S.F.Primary School) are not provided the cook meal as it has no space to cook & non availability of water. The UPS (Jhargram Nani Bala Balika Vidyalaya) is not provided the cook meal due to infrastructure problem.
Delay in payment of cooking cost and honorarium to cook cum helpers. Roaster of parents for inspection of MDM is not available in the schools. Problem of pucca kitchen shed in some of the visited schools.
