CPE Monitor is a collaborative system used by ACPE, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), and ACPE-accredited providers for all pharmacists and technicians to record andtracktheirCPEcredits. Target Audience

UPhA education sessions are designed for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians from all practice settings.

Courses appropriate for pharmacist participation are designated by an ACPE activity number ending in the letter “P.”

Courses appropriate for pharmacy technician participation are designated by an ACPE activity number ending in the letter “T.”

Review the ACPE information for each session to determine the amount of credit offered.

Session Handouts

To help preserve our natural resources, UPhA education sessions are paperless. However, to offer participants an enduring reference to the education content, the majority of the presentation materials are available at www.UPhA.com. These presentations will remain online until December 31, 2019.

Activity Type

All activity types at this meeting are Knowledge Based activities.

Partial Credit

UPhA does not offer partial credit for any CPE activity.

Learning Objectives

Learning objectives for all CPE sessions are provided on the UPhA website, www.UPhA.com, in the program event guide, and are provided at the beginning of each session.

Disclosures

Financial support for individual education sessions is indicated on handouts and noted at the beginning of each education session.

CPE Requirements

To earn CPE credit for a session accredited by CEI, participants must actively participate in the entire session, submit an attendance code, complete an appropriate learning assessment as provided, complete an activity evaluation, and “claim” your credit using the online CPE submission site. Proof of your CPE credit will be available to you on CPE Monitor. UPhA no longer issues paper statements of credit.

All continuing pharmacy education (CPE) participation will be recorded online for 2019. Recording credit online is quick and easy!

• Insutructions for claiming your CPE credit are available online at www.UPhA.com and below. Within 30 days following the CPE date: Login at CEImpact.com*. Complete the Course Evaluation then follow the instructions to access your CPE Statement of Credit on CPE Monitor. Information will be provided by UPhA following the event to complete all needed evaluations. *If this is the firsttimeyouhaveutilizedtheCEILearningManagementSystem(LMS)youwillneedtocreatean account before completing course evaluations.

•YouwillneedyourNABPe-ProfileIDtoallowtheCPEcredittobetransferredtotheCPEMonitor system. You will need an attendance code for each session that you attended. These codes will be provided to you in each session.

• You can print your CPE transcript directly from CPE Monitor. Individual statements of credit from UPhA or CEI are not available.

Grievance Policy

ShouldanyattendeeofanapprovedCPEsessionbedissatisfiedwiththequalityoftheactivity,a request in writing must be submitted to the UPhA Education Department at [email protected] within 5 days of the conclusion of the session.

Accreditation

Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) for each course has been accredited by CEI, an ACPE-accredited provider of continuing pharmacy education. You MUST complete the online requirements to obtain your CPE Credit. The deadline for obtaining your CPE credit is: October 14, 2019. This deadline is non-negotiable due to the CPE Monitor reporting timelines.

CEI is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
