This years recipient of t he Medicine Hat Scholarship is Tea’ Hideko Miyanaga and she has been provided with a letter as well as the actual cheque. I have attached a copy of the picture taken of Tea’ receiving the cheque from our Operations Manager, Paul Haynes (left) and our Taber Food Store Manager, Rod Yokoyama (right).

Myers Wrestling team is selling apples at the Farmers' Market next Thursday. Royal Gala and Spartans for $1.00/lb. Apples will be sold 5, 10, 20 and 40 lb amounts.

To all FNMI families within Horizon School Division:

Welcome back to another school year. Last year we piloted a successful

FMNI group where we were able to bring students, parents and elders

together. I would like to continue to assist with this opportunity for our

families and have set up an initial meeting for everyone who is

interested. This meeting is to brain storm about starting a group

committee for our FNMI students and families. We will introduce

ourselves and bring our ideas to the table. The meeting is Tuesday

Sept. 15th, 2015 at the W.R. Myers High School library from 5:00-

7:00pm. School address is 5511-54st. Hope to see you there.
