PRICES: Pr icing is subject to change without notice. The invoice is billed on the basis of price prevailing at time of order entry. DELIVERY: All invoices are dated as of date of delivery; Delivery is construed to be acceptable of shipment by a common carrier or the Buyer, and if delivery is made to the Buyer, then receipt of goods by the Buyer shall be delivery. Any installment of merchandise of part thereof shall be paid for in accordance with the terms hereof, regardless of claims by either party relative to any other delivered or undelivered merchandise. We offer convenient delivery on stock items and usually a 4 to 6 week delivery on custom designed items from date of order. All stock items are subject to prior sale and occasionally need to be refreshed. We encourage you to inquire about delivery schedules at the time of order. SHORTAGES: Claims for shortages must be made within ten days after receipt of goods. Failure to present claim within this period shall constitute a waiver of all claims thereto. REPAIR POLICY: Determination to repair MIDWEST items is consid-ered on a case by case basis. Factors such as defective materials, fabric contami-nation, product wear and abuse must be evaluated. Request assistance by contacting your salesperson and explain the circumstances which involve the repair. We will work for cooperation and provide this service while considering your employee’s safety as well as ours. WORKMANSHIP: Merchandise covered by invoice is not returnable to Seller except for reason of defective workmanship. Then, the Buyer must secure “Return Authorization” from the Seller to return such merchandise. Items identified as defective in material and/or workmanship will receive full credit, including shipping charges. RETURN OF PRODUCTS: It is the Seller ’s discretion whether an item is returnable. The fact that a particular item is in the catalog or price list does not mean it can be readily resold. Again, the Buyer must secure “RETURN AUTHORIZATION” from the Seller to return any merchandise. All returned items must be in a clean and resalable condition and are subject to a 15% restocking charge.

GUIDE TO A PROPER FITTING GARMENT FOR ARC FLASH APPAREL

The Body Measurement Sizing Guide must be applied in conjunction with the Standard Garment Sizing Charts on pages 30-33.

All MIDWEST sizing is based on body measurements. The following is a guide to determine how and where to take these measurements to insure a proper fit.

1.0 Always have someone else take measurements. 2.0 When measuring, keep the tape snug, but not tight. 3.0 Place the measuring tape exactly on those body portions illustrated in the photographed example. 4.0 For actual body chest and waist measurements falling between two sizes = order the next largest size.

BODY MEASURMENT SIZING GUIDE

A = Chest Size _________ Inches Measure around the fullest part of the chest just under the arms and across the shoulder blades. B = Sleeve Length _________ Inches With elbow bent, measure from base of neck and back at center, down and around the elbow and continue to the wrist.

C = Coat Length _________ Inches Measure from base of neck and back at center, down to desired length. D = Waist Size _________ Inches Measure circumference of the narrowest part of trunk below ribs and above the hip bone where top of pants will ride. E = Inseam Length _________ Inches Measure along inside of the seam of one leg from crotch point down to heel of shoe.

Salisbury sleeves feature a reinforcing fold at the cuff. This fold is preferred overa rolled bead because it adds less bulk to the cuff and fits into the glove easier without pushing. Sleeves meet the current requirements of ASTM D1051 and offer the same high level of quality and protection.

MOLDED SLEEVES: This method offers the ability to produce sleeves of natural rubber Type I or SALCOR Type II synthetic rubber. SALCOR provides the same high quality and electrical protection as natural rubber with the added benefit of being resistant to ozone and ultraviolet radiation. Each blanket is manufactured to high quality standards, is fully tested, and subjected to a series of thorough inspections to assure material purity, consistency and flexibility. They are available in black natural rubber (Type-I) for use where ozone concentrations are low. They are also available in orange or black synthetic EPDM rubber (Type-II) for use on high voltage distribution circuits. Insulating Roll Blankets, made from a high strength fabric reinforced Type II rubber, allow workers to custom-cut the blanket to fit each application at the job site. Meets ASTM 2320 standards.
