1. Miele HyClean Dustbag The first stage of the AirClean system is the Miele HyClean dustbag which is made from a special fleece which provides 9 layers of filtration. This will retain more fine dust and small particles than a conventional dustbag. Also featured is an auto shutter mechanism; automatically closing the bag when the vacuum cleaner is opened, preventing any dust escaping during disposal.
2. Motor Protection Filter The next stage is the motor filter which provides another layer of filtration as well as protecting the motor to ensure that your vacuum cleaner will last its full life cycle.
3. HEPA/AirClean Filter These filters provide 11 layers of filtration for models with the AirClean and Active AirClean filter and 12 for models with the Active HEPA filter.
AirClean FilterThis filter is designed for normal use and is made of a multi-ply material which is electrostatically charged to retain the majority of dust particles. Lasting as long as a box of dustbags, one is included in every box.
Active AirClean FilterThis filter combines the AirClean filter with active charcoal to help absorb odours from the dustbag making it ideal for homes with pets. This filter retains the majority of dust particles and has a life of 50 hours or 12 months.
Active HEPA FilterThis filter provides even better levels of filtration ensuring that it retains even more dust and allergens to create a comfortable environment for allergy sufferers. This filter has a life of 50 hours or 12 months.
