Who is Mighty Strong Girls? Therefore, I urge you, sisters, in view of God’s mercy,

to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God — this is your

true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but

be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will

is —His good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2

Our goal is simply to shower girls with love, alleviate hurts and encourage them to embrace their own unique beauty. It’s a transformation that takes place in the heart, mind, body AND spirit — girls alongside women, moms side-by-side with daughters, and girls in healthy friendships with one another. This is a group of girls determined to seek the will of God, worship and improve their lives by putting Christ first. They also believe in the power of sisterhood! Mighty Strong Girls is the unfolding vision born out of a teen girl’s desire to help other girls — to prevent them from experiencing life with low self-esteem — so that they can live life to the fullest, trusting in God, pursuing their dreams and changing the world. Mighty Strong Girls is a magazine, a small group, events and the special, mysterious God spa.

The Mighty Strong Girls visionis to encourage, educate, equip and

empower girls to discover and be good stewards of their unique gifts and calling in Christ.

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the

evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for

works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we

all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to

the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

What is Mighty Strong Connections?

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible —

and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the

dead, and Christ will shine on you.” ~ Ephesians 5:11-14

Mighty Strong Connections is the name of our small groups. They help plan and write magazine stories and create art. Both the articles and the time spent together focuses on health — purifying the heart, strenghtening the mind, understanding our pasts, healing hurts, loving our bodies and connecting with God and one another to deepen our faith. Small groups can get inspiration from our website and/or use the “Ways to Grow” column and reflection questions published in each issue of the magazine.

The Mighty Strong Girls mission is to provide a community and

resources for girls to transform their hearts, minds, bodies and spirits as they become

followers of Jesus.

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.A cord of three strands is not

quickly broken.Ecclesiastes 4:12

What is the mystery of the spa?

There is no mystery in the spa itself. But it is mysterious that God, in His amazing way and infinite wisdom, has chosen to use this experience as a way for us to communicate our deepest thoughts about ourselves with Him and for Him to share with us His most intimate thoughts about the way He sees us. The Mighty Strong Girl’s spa is simply a tool God has chosen to use for that very special purpose — His purpose: a deeper, more intimate relationship with Him. Through the use of a few simple “spa” elements, testimonies and scripture, girls are encouraged to lay down issues that may be keeping them from receiving all Christ has for them, with a surprising gift from His heart to theirs at the end. Mighty Strong Girls uses the spa to minister to at-risk and partnership ministries when resources are available. We are able to do this thanks to donor support and volunteers. Empowering girls to change the world

Mighty Strong Girls holds at least one Ultimate Mighty Strong Girls Experience annually to serve girls and their moms, allow them to experience Christ and encourage them to be disciples. We also connect girls with opportunities to use their gifts, time and talents to serve the Lord. Our women-led board serves one another and serves the girls, as well as introduces girls to opportunities to volunteer in their communities. Girls also serve one another, share ministry/missions ideas with each other (through the magazine and through Mighty Strong Connections) and complete service projects side-by-side. While most projects have been within the community, Mighty Strong Girls is also prayfully seeking service and missions projects nationally and internationally.

Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, because you know

that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free.

~ Ephesians 6:7-8

Mighty Strong Girls Values

The desire to understand and express our emotions in ways that are healthy, beneficial and honoring to God.

The ability to improve our mental health, to grasp the breadth of our intellect and to identify problems as soon as possible and seek treatment.

The best care and treatment of the bodies God gave us — fueling, decorating and treating our “temples” respectfully and wisely inasmuch as we are able.

The commitment to grow in our relationship with Christ, to seek and share Biblical purity, pray, read the word of God, serve and disciple others.

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how

wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know

this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness

of God.~ Ephesians 3:17b-19

We are better together

God is building a home. He’s using us all— irrespective of how we got here — in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he’s using you, fitting you

in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts

together. We see it taking shape day after day — a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a

temple in which God is quite at home.~ Ephesians 2:20-22 (MSG)
