MILITARY LEAVE• BENEFIT: – 5 days paid leave– Runs concurrently with FMLA

• ELIGIBILILTY:– Military Spouse, child or parent deployed overseas– Can be used before or while on leave from

deployment

DOUGLAS COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT

ADOPTION LEAVE• BENEFIT: – 4 weeks paid leave– Runs concurrently with FMLA

• ELIGIBILILTY:– Within 3 weeks of placement of adopted child

in employee’s home– Available after employee uses 10 days of sick

leave– For employees married to each other, one will

be eligible at a time
