Hello Again, Fellow Military Enthusiasts!Please attend the Central Wisconsin Military Show! With your help we will continue to improve the event. Our goal is to raise awareness of the military collector hobby and provide a platform for Veterans service organizations to get their message out and for everyone to have a great time. For 2018 the event has grown to two public show days Friday and Saturday plus a private participants day on Thursday. We are pleased to announce that Ho-Chunk Gaming is continuing as the presenting sponsor. They have just opened a new hotel at their casino eleven miles from the Motorama Show Grounds. For those who want to camp, we have motor home sites available in addition to the river front tent and trailer sites. No electrical hook-ups. The re-enactor encampment and battlefield is expanding. Re-enactors are encouraged to construct permanent improvements before the show dates. We will have battles this year.Show vehicle grounds have been enlarged, so bring more trucks! The food court and live music will be similar to last year with a couple of new twists.Gun Policy: Gun dealers are welcome in the swap meet. All guns must be trigger locked or wire tied regardless of completeness. No live ammunition allowed on the premises. This includes powder, re-loading supplies or anything capable of exploding. Pets Policy: No pets, except registered service animals.No ATVs, mopeds, motorcycles, golf carts, except with handicap decal. The new Swap Meet area is under construction. Mother Nature has set us back a bit. We are concerned about having grass growing in time. When completed, swap area B will have gravel roads, grass sites and adjoining camping. If you want to camp next to your swap site, this is the place for you. Vending spaces are 10' x 25' at $50 each and adjacent camping is $35.Swap area A, the graveled area we used last year is for vending only, 10' x 25' at $50 per space, no camper, support vehicles, empty trailers. Basically, tents with items for sale only. As the show gets closer, we will know if the new Swap B area will be open. We are asking you on the registration form to register for two spaces but *tell us how many spaces you want and in which area you want to be in. With a little luck, the new swap area will be completed and you will be able to have the same assigned spots for future shows.And last, but not least, our host, the Motorama Auto Museum, has allowed viewing of various exhibits on the grounds. All outdoor exhibits will be open. The entire museum will not be open during the event due to logistics.We will continue to make the CWMS the best in the Midwest.
