MILK IN LOCHIEL SCHOOL
Milk arrived in our school on the 9th of July 2013.
THE MILK MONITORS DANIEL JOSH BRIARNE
We had to write a short paragraph saying why we should be chosen to be a milk monitor.
We deliver the milk to each class at 9.00 every morning.
The used cartons are collected and tipped in to the blue bin. Nigel and Maringa come and pick up the bag of empty cartons. They are sent to Thailand and are recycled into roof tiles and cardboard books.

Nigel and Maringa Popham work for Anchor. They drop off the milk once every term.
Maringa sometimes makes us do our maths! She helps us count the boxes with milk inside that we have left. She then writes the total on the paper.
I enjoy having milk in school.
Thank you Fonterra for giving kids the chance to drink milk.

Milk is great for building strong bones and vitamin A helps prevent healthy eye vision.
