Tower Hotel, Oklahoma City

President’s Welcome:

A heartfelt welcome to officers, members, collegiate members and guests. I especially welcome our new members and those attending for the first time. We are here to celebrate OMTA’s 88th Annual Conference, entitled Music for the Mind, Body and Spirit. Each year we look forward to our state conference, because it gives us a special time to be together, to share stories and ideas, to gather information, and to renew our inspiration for teaching. My special thanks to Heather Lanners. This year she spent many hours planning our conference. She has invited renowned artists and clinicians to perform, to enlighten us, and to help us in our careers. I also thank Heather’s committee of teachers who have helped make each aspect of the conference a success. Please enjoy as many recitals and sessions as you possibly can, and share our good fortune in having great talent among us; and please visit our exhibits and support our exhibitors. To all OMTA members, I congratulate on your dedication to our profession and thank you for your continued support.
