With the tagline I wanted to use alliteration to put emphasis the fact that it is a ‘music’ magazine. The ‘M’ is repeated on the Masthead in ‘Maestro’ as well, which highlights the name of the magazine. Alliteration generally makes the magazine more aesthetically appealing, and makes it more memorable. Personally I think ‘Masters of music’ has quite a formal tone to it, which fits with the magazines formal appearance.
