    Firstly, thanks to god Allah S.W.T. Finally, we have finished our complete report about

    this project called MINI DRYER.

    Before proceed to the next chapter and discussing more details about this project. We

    would like to thanks to Mr. Nurul Zaidi B. Hj Kasbolah as our supervisor that have give us so

    much tips and guiding us to the successful of this project and had been accepted by our juries on

    projects proposal presentation before. Besides, we are also thanks to our Seminars Lecturer Mr.

    Ahmad Azahan B. Mohamad. There are a lot of comments and critics that always make us

    become a better person than yesterday and day by day. Honestly your own style of critism makes

    ABSTRACT

    This MINI DRYER is a machine that specially designed to help people drying their wet

    clothes such as stocking, bra, underpants, tie and others. Besides, this machine is smaller and

    more portable compared by usually other washing machine. Its also able to dry small clothes in

    around 60-70 percent drying.This machine also allow people to bring it along wherever they

    want to go because its so handly. This dryer machines maintenance doesnt involve any high

    cost to maintain it in good condition.

    CHAPTER 1 : INTRODUCTION

    1.1 Introduction

    As everyone knows, weather in Malaysia nowadays is so unpredictable. For example,

    when raining season comes, theres a lot of problem will affects several people including those

    from students and others that using a motorcycle and have to ride along way back home in rain.

    This situation will cause their important clothes that need to wear everyday get wet in this

    condition. Mini clothes that they need to wear everyday such as tie, stocking, or scarf/tudung,

    that are usually didnt need to wash it everyday will get wet. As we all know, several people like

    students, didnt have much money to buy that kind of clothes and usually will wear it over and

    over again without change it and wash it. So, when there are no more clothes to wear and all

    clothes got left was get wet, it will cause problem to them. Thats why this idea is to build or

    made a one dryer machine that is compaq and portable and also will be a machine that anyone

    can buy especially the students and bachelors that didnt have much money to buy a washing

    machine. This simple dryer machine helps the consumer dry their clothes in just a few minutes.

    The original concept of this machine, basically takes from blender, washing machine and

    thumbler dryer that are using on industries.

    1.2 Objective

    Next, there are some objective will be list out and will be achieve after all the project about this

    MINI DRYER finish :

    The machine that can dry the simple clothes such as tie, stocking, and others in just an

    easy way from the motor that moving fast and spin the spinner will make the all clothes become

    dry faster than usually and that can bring along together wherever we go, even in a jungle and

    using a right accessories as a power supply to make it work such as generator and etc.

    Helping IPTA or IPTS students and also the individual who are just get a job and still in

    unstable condition in a term of money and didnt have enough money to buy a washing

    machine. This MINI DRYER, cheaper if compare it with others washing machine cause its just a

    simple machine and not the complex one.

    1.3 Background Problems

    As an explanation about previous subtopic that had been discussed, based on introduction

    that had been mention before, the background problems that cause to build this projects is

    because the condition of weather and as a person itself. We realize that weather in Malaysia

    usually is so unstable this lately. Normally nowadays as we can see, rainy seasons come

    suddenly without we can predict it. Thats why this machine has been created to help certainpeople and of course, our target is a person who looking for low budget dryer machine and can

    bring it along wherever they want to go with easy operational. Besides, with this machine, we

    hope that we can change our Malaysian perspective about a better way how to dry the wet

    clothes in minimum time. As we know, lot of peoples nowadays that are using old style to dry

    their wet clothes using an iron. With this machine, we can dry our wet clothes with a single

    button and just sit relaxed and waiting the machine finish the job. Obviously, we can see from

    this way of how to drying wet clothes, its better than the old one. It looks more modern and

    efficient. Next, the design of this machine are so simple and can bring along with wherever and

    also very helpful when in desperate situation or condition like at the jungle and so on.

    1.4 Projects Scope

    Next will be list out the projects scope. This projects scope is about the target of the

    consumer for this project.

    Students from IPTA/IPTS that didnt stay at the hostel and live at rented house

    that didnt have this kind of service.

    For bachelors or graduation that just having a new job and still in unstable finance

    condition.

    Certain people that dont have enough money to afford a full automatic washing

    machine and just looking for low budget dryer machine that are so portable.

    Individual that always go for outstation and need to attend important seminar that

    always have to change their accommodation.

    1.5 Advantages And Disadvantages

    1.5.1 Advantages

    Drying wet clothes in just a few minutes.

    Portable. Can bring along together wherever.

    Simple design and can save more space.

    Very handly. Only using a few step to operate it.

    Easy maintenance because theres no complex structure and electrical circuit.

    1.5.2 Disadvantages

    Probably the clothes that want to dry using this machine didnt achieve 100% dry. Maybe

    this machine just can dry the clothes around 60-70%.

    Required intensive care in its inside part.

    CHAPTER 2 : LITERATURE RESEARCH

    2.1 Introduction

    This Literature Research will show about researching at this project especially at all part

    and component we use at this system. We must to make a complete research because we want to

    use a suitable part and component for use at this project and if we have a little research we cant

    know what the best component and part we can use this project.

    2.2 Domain Introduction

    Further will be described on the other hand on literature study has been made about this

    project information monitoring. This study made based on some of the ones that were made

    whether on the Internet and from that yarn party and dab in field as such. Overall, reference on

    this project have surrounded from aspect design, application, and mechanism how it function.

    From the figure above this showed cross section for an automatic washing machine

    fundamentally. From aspect mechanism movement in this machine drying were taken in help to

    produce this Mini Dryer. Design Mini Dryer machine 's original this also already taken based on

    of this washing machine.

    2.3 Automatic Washing Machine Fundamentally

    Like those known, this Mini Dryers machine overall based on of present automatic washing

    machine. Most aspects have taken based on of this washing machine, from aspect design,

    mechanism movement, concept and others were taken. Further, will be described fundamentally

    on mechanism automatic that present washing machine movement:

    1. Those clothes want to be washed and is dried and admitted into machine.

    2. Machine is start according to clothes quantity and how many clothes included.

    3. Machine function with in his beginning motor move by way of something cleaning and

    further turn with faster for drying process.4. Those clothes have been completed being washed and dried dropped from machine with

    drying average as much as 80%.

    2.4 Component Type Used

    In this subtopic, it will be described study of key component part will be applied to into this Mini

    Dryer 's machine. Further, explained fundamentally on hardware or key component will be used.

    2.5 Motor

    After making study motor what suitable to be used, motor washing machine were created choice

    because the design is small and more powerful. It even more suitable compared with other

    motors a bigger one.

    After finish describe about the Literatur investigation, the next subtopic is about

    Metodology Performance. It is refer to the Literatur Investigation before. Metodology

    Performance means that the movement system, structure, entrails mechanism and tools or themain components that use refer to the investigation we do before. Metadology is one method for

    a system which translate from the input which given to make a output which we want.

    Example of the Mini Dryer Machine base from the washing machine structure and it is smaller

    than washing machine and easy to remove it from a place to a place.

    Structure and the movement mechanism of the machine mostly refer to the washing machine

    automatic that we use now. Now will be explained about how the Entrails Mechanism of the

    machine with its functions.

    1. Clothes that need to dry is put into the Mini Dryer.

    2. Switch on the system.

    3. Motor of Mini Dryer will start to spin about 5-10 minutes.

    4. Mostly the time of the drying or spinning process need to depend to the quality of the

    clothes because if have a lot of clothes need to spin, it will take a lot of time.

    5. Entrails Mechanism, normally is refer to the drying process of the washing machine.

    6. After finish the drying process, clothes will dry in about 60%-70%.

    3.3 MOVEMENT MECHANISM

    Clothes that need to dry is put into Mini Dryer.

    Switch on the system.

    Motor will start to function with the spin that connect to it.

    Spinner will spin about 5-10 minutes to evade the water from

    the clothes.

    CHAPTER 4 : PROJECT DESIGNATION

    4.1 INTRODUCTION

    In this chapter are elaborate more about the design, the drawing of the project, the circuits

    that are related to this project and the operational system of this project. We have to discuss a

    few aspect to execute in our project design process to made a decision the suitable design. We

    have doing a discussion after a few early idea have investigate and make sure there is no problem

    in our project while group present. After we know the problem and the weakness, we have do

    some investigation to our project.

    Designs can definition as principle scientific, technical information and imagination or

    design. Meaning of the word design is;

    CHAPTER 5 : PART AND COMPONENT

    5.1 MOTOR AC SPINNER

    An electrical motor in the 1/3 to 3/4 Horse Power range typically powers your washing

    machine. These motors require a 220 Volt electrical connection. The washing machine motor is

    connected to a set of control switches and safety switches. The control switches allow you to set

    the speed and duration of the wash and spin cycles. The safety switches engage to shut themachine off if the lid is opened or the water level is too high. Some machines will also have an

    excess vibration cut-off switch.

    MOTOR AC FOR SPINNER

    5.2 CAPACITOR

    A capacitor or condenser is a passive electronic component consisting of a pair of

    conductors separated by a dielectric. When a voltagepotential difference exists between the

    conductors, an electric field is present in the dielectric. This field stores energy and produces a

    mechanical force between the plates. The effect is greatest between wide, flat, parallel, narrowlyseparated conductors.

    An ideal capacitor is characterized by a single constant value, capacitance, which is

    measured in farads. This is the ratio of the electric charge on each conductor to the potential

    difference between them. In practice, the dielectric between the plates passes a small amount of

    dielectric has an electric field strength limit resulting in abreakdown voltage.

    Capacitors are widely used in electronic circuits to block the flow of direct current whileallowing alternating current to pass, to filter out interference, to smooth the output ofpower

    supplies, and for many other purposes. They are used in resonant circuits in radio frequency

    equipment to select particularfrequencies from a signal with many frequencies.

    5.3 BODY (ALUMINIUM)

    Aluminium alloys are alloys in which aluminium is the predominant metal. Typical

    alloying elements are copper, zinc, manganese, silicon, and magnesium. There are two principalclassifications, namely casting alloys and wrought alloys, both of which are further subdivided

    into the categories heat-treatable and non-heat-treatable. About 85% of aluminium is used for

    wrought products, for example rolled plate, foils and extrusions. Cast aluminium alloys yield

    cost effective products due to the low melting point, although they generally have lowertensile

    strengths than wrought alloys. The most important cast aluminium alloy system is Al-Si, where

    the high levels of silicon (4-13%) contribute to give good casting characteristics. Aluminium

    alloys are widely used in engineering structures and components where light weight or corrosion

    resistance is required.

    Aluminium alloy surfaces will keep their apparent shine in a dry environment due to the

    formation of a clear, protective oxide layer. In a wet environment, Galvanic corrosion can occur

    when an aluminium alloy is placed in electrical contact with other metals with a more negative

    corrosion potential than aluminium.

    Aluminium alloy compositions are registered with The Aluminum Association. Many

    organizations publish more specific standards for the manufacture of aluminium alloy, including

    the Society of Automotive Engineers standards organization, specifically its aerospace standards

    subgroups, and ASTM International.

    In conclusion, the electric element and mechanical have found used from this

    project. All the problems have been solved by using the theories that have learned. In

    order to finish up this project, we have referred to individuals which is expert in this field.

    It make more confidence while doing thing this project. Hope with this project, it may

    help the youth to do washing machine job everywhere either if outrange from house. This

    is because of our portable washing machine. While project proposal in progress we get a

    lot of things about this project. Furthermore, our group gave a lot of commitment and

    cooperation one another.
