The W15 series photoelectric sensors have it all! The WTB15 offers best-in-class back- ground suppression performance, utilizing SICK’s latest custom ASIC: OES3. This will provide users with pre- cise adjustable background suppres- sion – reliable detection of target objects, regardless of colour or reec- tivity. Benets also include industry- leading protection to common facto- ry “noise” inuences: EMC, sensor cross-talk, ambient lighting, etc. In addition, the W15 series is round- ed out with a full offering of other sensing modes: WTE15 energetic sensors, WL15 retroreective sen- sors, and WSE15 through-beam sen- sors. Mounting exibility is prominent in the design of the W15 series. In addition to the 18 mm front mount and side- mount through holes, the W15 offers a unique ush-mounting option with the included “snap-ring.” Sensors no longer need to intrude on the prod- uct ow. Flexible output congurations are also included in the W15 series. Sensors are offered with either PNP/NPN (bi- polar) outputs, or with complementa- ry outputs. This allows for the optimi- zation of sensor performance, as well as inventory streamlining. Another illuminating advantage of the W15 series is the highly visible LED indicators. Application solutions. The W15 series

photoelectric sensors have it all!

The WTB15 offers best-in-class back-

ground suppression performance,

utilizing SICK’s latest custom ASIC:

OES3. This will provide users with pre-

cise adjustable background suppres-

sion – reliable detection of target

objects, regardless of colour or refl ec-

tivity. Benefi ts also include industry-

leading protection to common facto-

ry “noise” infl uences: EMC, sensor

cross-talk, ambient lighting, etc.

In addition, the W15 series is round-

ed out with a full offering of other

sensing modes: WTE15 energetic

sensors, WL15 retrorefl ective sen-

sors, and WSE15 through-beam sen-

sors.

Mounting fl exibility is prominent in the

design of the W15 series. In addition

to the 18 mm front mount and side-

mount through holes, the W15 offers

a unique fl ush-mounting option with

the included “snap-ring.” Sensors no

longer need to intrude on the prod-

uct fl ow.

Flexible output confi gurations are also

included in the W15 series. Sensors

are offered with either PNP/NPN (bi-

polar) outputs, or with complementa-

ry outputs. This allows for the optimi-

zation of sensor performance, as well

as inventory streamlining.

Another illuminating advantage of

the W15 series is the highly visible

LED indicators. In addition to the typi-

cal power and output indicator on the
