Please hand them to any of the collectors or place them on the bench in the vesting sacristy. Your generosity to the work of Caritas is very much appreciated. CHRISM MASS: 23 March. The Apostolic Nuncio will preside at this year’s Chrism Mass, which will be concelebrated by the priests of the Diocese of Parramatta, assisted by the deacons. During the Mass, the Oil of the Catechumens and the Oil of the Sick will be blessed and the Oil of Chrism consecrated. These holy oils will then be given to the parishes for use during the year. During the Mass, the priests renew their commitment to priestly service. Everyone is welcome. Mass at 7.30pm in St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The reason for the change is that the Church stipulates that the Easter Vigil should not begin before nightfall. Ministers of the Eucharist Anniversary: 1st April is 30 years since female Ministers of the Eucharist became involved at OLOW. All Ministers will be acknowledged at the 9.30am Mass on Sunday 3rd April. We are compiling a list of past and current Ministers of the Altar and Eucharist.
