Please note that Alitalia announced that it will resume the direct daily flight from JFK to FCO starting on June 2nd.
Starting in June Alitalia will also build up flights from Rome-FCO to Barcelona, Brussels, Frankfurt, Geneva, London, Madrid, Monaco, Paris and Zurich.
On 25 May, UK adopted new border measures that will come into effect on 8 June . The new rules include for people entering the UK :
- The need to provide journey and contact details when travelling to the UK; - They will not be allowed to leave the place where they are staying for the first 14 days in the
UK except in very limited situations (known as ‘self-isolating’)

In particular, an exemption is applicable to “a transit passenger, an individual transiting to a country outside of the Common Travel Area, who remains airside and does not pass border control”
