• The NACM is defining and developing this role as a department of our organization. The goal is to perfect various areas of applied ministry so that is members, as well as ministers around the World will benefit from the insight gained.

• Ministry is conducted by people, unto people, and for God. Because all people are “works in progress", it follows that all ministry is also a work in progress. The implication is that it must be cultivated and perfected.

A ministry practitioner understands that all ministry is a work in progress

For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: (Eph 4:12 KJV)

• The NACM exists to gather, network, equip, empower, and fellowship ministers for the Kingdom of God. It is assumed that our members have a call to ministry and are joined together for this cause.

• Understands the necessity of fellowship based on the idea that God has not given gifts to individuals, but rather to the Body of Christ.

A Ministry Practitioner is someone who:

An eye can't say to a hand, "I don't need you!" Or again, the head can't say to the feet, "I don't need you!" The opposite is true. The parts of the body that we think are weaker are the ones we really need…God's purpose was that the body should not be divided but rather that all of its parts should feel the same concern for each other. (1Co 12:21-25 GW)

• Understands that the most effective way to practice ministry is to “depend” on the weaker parts.

Suppose a king is going to war against another king. He would first sit down and think things through. Can he and his 10,000 soldiers fight

against a king with 20,000 soldiers? If he can't, he'll send ambassadors to ask for terms of peace while the other king is still far away.

How to get started:

• 1. To qualify, one must be a member of the NACM

• 2. They must complete the question activities of the Leadership Hall

• 3. We then position them within a “ministry cluster” to begin their growth, leadership, application, and practice as a minister.
