Raynger 3i® TM
The RRaynger 3iStandard FeaturesIn addition to displaying real-time temperature, the Raynger 3i calculates
Maximum, Minimum, Difference and Average temperature values, while the
Recall feature allows you to recall the last temperature reading. The 3i also com-
pensates for energy reflected by the background around your target so it doesn't
affect your reading. The backlit display makes it easy to read the display under
poor lighting conditions. A locking trigger allows unattended operation, while
adjustable high and low alarms signal over- and under-range temperature
conditions. Each 3i comes with a padded nylon carrying case, shoulder strap
and tripod mount.
The 3i can also store up to 100 data points in an on-board datalogger, eliminat-
ing the need for clipboards, recording devices, or other peripheral hardware.
Data outputs from the 3i provide a direct interface to chart recorders and print-
ers. All models are equipped with an output jack capable of providing analog
and digital signals.
Innovative Sighting OptionsBecause no single sighting system works best for every application, the Raynger3i offers you a choice of sighting options: single laser, dual laser, crossed laser,
scope sighting, or scope with laser sighting.
.
Single Laser: The single laser is designed for accuracy over distance. Singlelaser models pinpoint the center of your target area with a bright laser spot.
Scope and Scope with Laser: If you measure temperature at a distance in bright day-light, a 3i with scope sighting is your best choice. At the focus point, 3i scopes areparallax-free and provide circular reticles for pinpoint accuracy. To enhance thesighting capabilities of the scope, try a combined scope with laser model.
Crossed Laser: For precise measurement of smaller targets, choose a 3i withcrossed laser sighting. The instrument’s minimum measurement spot is indicated atthe point the two laser beams meet.
The 3i gives you a choice of laser output. L2 models meet FDA Class II
and IEC Class requirements. L3 models meet the requirements of FDA
Class IIIa.
Which 3i model is right for your application?General purpose Raynger 3i models handle a variety of maintenance and
quality control applications. Choose the 3i that matches your temperature
range and optical requirements, then pick the sighting option that best
meets the needs of your particular application. Your Raytek sales engineer
can help you make the right choice.
Glass, plastics, and secondary metals processing require specific models
to accurately measure temperatures of these materials. Choose from the
G5 model designed for glass manufacturing and recycling; the P7 model,
used for the production and converting of thin film plastics; or the 1M or
2M models, ideal for metal foundry and processing operations including
heat treating, tempering, and forging.
Innovative laser sighting. Full range features. Models for general purpose
and special applications. With so many choices, there’s a Raynger 3i that
is just right for your application.Dual Laser: The dual laser indicates the diameter of the target area measuredwith two glowing spots
“A long list of standard features and a variety of innovative sighting
options makes the Raynger 3i the best value in a handheld
noncontact infrared thermometer.”
