The house observed that enrollment since 2012 for this program is being taken under the Dual Degree Program (DDP) with Lancaster University, UK without the prior approval of PEC. The DDP program of COMSAT has already been in discussion among the stakeholders including PEC and HEC for its legal/technical resolution. The issue was also placed in 70th EA&QEC meeting and the decision indicating the legal authority of offering four (04) years program or leading to M.Eng Program by Lancaster University, UK and accreditation by respective accrediting bodies (EC-UK and PEC) should be resolved amicably.
