Brief information of the project by SEACPP submitted their application for the grant of TOR under category 6(b)B1 as per EIA Notification,2006. PP presented draft TOR based on standard TOR issued by MoEF & CC published in April, 2015in the 129th meetin gof SEAC-1 held on 16th to 18th June,2016wherein ToR was approved with oneof the condition that the distance from the boundary of the Great Indian Bustard Bird Sanctury maybe indicated in the EIA report.

DECISION OF SEACDuring deliberations with the PP and his accrediated consultant it came to the notice of the SEAC that, the distance ofthe proposed site from the Great Indian Bustard Bird Sanctury is 2.4 Kms. As per General Condition mentioned in theEIA Notification, 2006 and amendments dated 25.06.2014 states as below,

"Any project or activity specified in Category "B" will be appraised at the Central Level as Cayegory "A", iflocated in whole or in part within 5 km. from the boundary of: (i) Protected ares notified under the Wild Life(Protection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972)........"

With reference to the above provision, PP informed that, the Forest Department has issued new notification reducing thedistances of above referred Bird Sanctury and requsted to allow some time to submit the same before makig finaldecision in the matter.

On request of PP, SEAC decided to give 30 days time to PP to submit clarification and NOC from competent authrotiyshowing distance of proosed project site from the Great Indian Bustard Bird Sanctury. In case PP fails to submit thesame, the proposal shall be forwarded to the SEIAA as per above mentioned provision for further necessary decision.

Specific Conditions by SEAC:

FINAL RECOMMENDATIONSEAC-I decided to defer the proposal till PP submits the additional information as per above conditions within 30 days
