In an April 23 letter to the faithful, the bishops of Georgia discussed the decision to suspend public liturgies through the end of May following Governor Brian Kemp’s an-nouncement April 20. You can safely assume that any celebration scheduled for the
month of May is postponed. If you wish to reschedule, you can do so my emailing our front office ([email protected]) or by calling in (770-538-8883).
First Communions, Confirmations, and RCIA celebrations will be scheduled once we are safe to celebrate public masses. Once we have an official date we will publicly an-nounce it thru our website. If all goes well, then the church will be open starting Mon-
day, June 1.

|Confirmation Class-Clase de Confirmacion| The School of Religion will be doing a mandatory Oral Exam for all 2nd Year Confirmation students. It is very important that the students sign up for a date and time of their choosing through “Sign-Up Genius” to have the oral exam. The students can expect the Oral Exam to be at least 30 minutes long. Parents and students will be given information through their email, if you do not receive anything from our Youth Minister, please contact us as soon as possible. Students can expect their exam results at the end of the session. If you have questions or concerns, please contact CJ Clarke at [email protected] or at 678-831-8046. The schedule is as follows:

|Making the most of this time – renovations! | See a few pictures here of the renovations that are underway in your social hall and narthex. It all started with conversations with parishioners about
hospitality and then grew into a plan to renovate the rooms where people are first welcomed into our parish. If you are wondering whether it is wise to spend money at this time, thank God that most of the money was already
given by generous parishioners and by our Fall Festival proceeds. When we all come back – we will have a more beautiful and hospitable space to welcome

We have had requests to have a “dropbox” installed outside the church, for those that want to drive by and drop off their Offerto-ry gi s to St. Michael.
It has now been installed in the front of the church, on one of the doors that enters the church by the School of Religion.
