Trcade of Jamaica.-The average annual value of goods exported from the Ulnited Kingdom to Jamaica in the six vears from 1832 to 1837 was 1,461,7101.; the average annual value of such goods re-ex- ported fioni Jamaica during the same period was 433,4681.

Royal Forests in France.-In 1837 the total number was 1473, containing 1,019,139 hectares, equal to 2,517,273 acres. Their total approximate value was estimated at 29,079,7361. averaging 111. lls. per acre.

State Property in Prance.-The total value of property of all kinds belonging to the State, in France, including buildings appropriated to the public service, or religious worship, and forests, was, in 1837, 51,091,8241., of which 347,4201. was not applicable to tlle public service.

Townt Population of Fratnce.-The total population of Franice in 1836 was 33,540,910, of which nutmber 4,951,684, or 14A per cent., inihabited the chief towns in each arrondissement.

Intland NVavigation of Fratnce.-The number of canals completed in 1837 was 74, and their length, 2300 miles; the number of rivers is 133, annd the extent of their navigation at the same period was 1530 miles, making altogether 7430 miles of inland navigation.

Tower Hamlets' Court of Requests.-Number of causes entered for lebts not exceeding 40s.: mi the year 1829, 29,961; in 1830, 28,375; in 1831,27,388; average,28,574: in the year 1833, 15,744; in 1834, 13,688; in 1835, 11,744; average, 13,725: decrease 52 per cent. Number of causes entered for debts above 40s. and not exceeding 51. ini the year 1833, 2816; in 1834, 2533; in 1835, 2097.

Southwark Court of Requtests.-Number of causes entered for debts under 40s.: in 1835, 13,278; in 1836, 14,353; in 1837, 14,474. For debts above 40s.: in 1835, 3414; in 1836, 3350; in 1837, 3333.

Duchty of Cornwall.-Income in year enided June 1838: total 28,4561.; viz., rents, 55671.; tin duty on coinages, 19,6791.; dividends on stock, sales of land, &c. 4961.; coals taken on rates from - to -1 of the free-share, 26301.; Stannary Court fees, 831. Expenditure ini the same year : total, 12,6701.; viz., salaries, 53421.; annuities and salaries to Stannary officers, with tithe on tiln, 28921; audit expenses, 3521. ; surveys, 191.; incidental expenises, 6851.; coinage expenses, 9531.; donations and charities, 1251.; extraordinary payments, 490l.; law expelnses, 17341.; poundage, 751.

Ditchy of Lancaster.-Income in year ended 20th June, 1838: total, 23,0381.; viz., rents, 21,8431.; dividends on stock, 7911.; grants ill fee, 1191.; grants of rents, and enfranchisement of copyholds, 2191.; snmall branches of revenue, 641. Expenditure in the same vear: total, 14,1261., viz. salaries, 76511.; poundage, &c. 11451.; stipendls and charities, 9931.; annluities, &c., 15261.; fees to counsel, survevs, &C., repairs, &c., tradesmen's bills, 14071. ; travelling and audit charges, 242l.; Queen-'s plate, Lancaster races, 1051.; expenses at Needwood games, 1111.; Savoy church, 2271.; office expenises, 4391.; ilnvestment in funlds, 2761.

Royal Canal, Ireland.-This work was begun in 1l89; in 1812 the company by which it was undertaken became bankrupt, with a debt of 862,0001. Irisb. In February, 1823, 1,421,9541. had been expended upon the canal, giving an average expenditure of 10,7801. per mile.

Grand Canal, Ireland.-Total expenditure for construction of the canal, to February 1823, 1,645,6011., exclusive of 9.3,2581. expended on the Shannon navigation, and 122,1491. on the Grand Canal Docks at Dublin.
