Mi:Skin was established in 2014. Our salon managerJennifer joined the team in time for our grand opening in December 2014. Our salon is based in the grounds of Miskin Manor, although independently owned by Kelly Callow. We have a fantastic team of therapists who are all NVQ level 2 and 3 trained.

Although we are a small team we provide high quality treatments and are always on hand to ensure you have the best experience with us.

At Mi-Skin we use both warm and hot wax for our waxing treatments. Waxing is better than shaving, although some find it a bit more painful, it lasts longer than shaving because it pulls the hair from the roots. Shaving can cause rashes on sensitive skin & for many, waxing makes the hair grow slower and finer.

Hot wax is a slightly higher temperature than warm wax, hot wax makes shorter and more stubborn hairs easier to remove and can be a much more comfortable way of removing hair. Recommended for sensitive skin.
