BackgroundIndia is home of 194.6 million

undernourished peopleThat is more than 15% of total populationIndia is on the top of the list of

undernourished peopleFood worth of $8.3 billion, or nearly 40% of

the total annual production is wasted

The ideaWe are planning an app named

Mission<15%.This app is designed for efficient usage of

food and other human consumablesIt is useful in provide food to the people who

are unable to fulfil their needsIt creates platform where the restaurants,

caterers and household people can be together.

ApplicationUser can download the app for Android, iOS

and Windows platformAfter download and register user can be the

part of processWhenever user have excess food they can

just request on the appThat request will appear on the admin’s

system

Admin will respond that request if food is in more quantity he will suggest user home-pickup option but if food is in regular quantity then user has to drop that to nearest volunteer

After all the food collection process the food will handover to the final volunteer

After inspection of the quality, food will supplied to various places where the economically poor found frequently.

All this process will happen between 10 to 11:30 PM everyday.

Proposed benefitsThis idea is mainly beneficial to the people

who all are unable to buy food.It is also beneficial to the common people

who having a problem of ethical disposal of excess food.

This helpful to commercial people in food industry like restaurants and caterers.

It is helpful to law students also, who all are having trouble to find internships in NGO.

RoadblocksRed tapism is the biggest problem in the

actualization of this idea.We have to register this under NGO category

and the red tapism of Social Welfare department is not new to anyone.

Attract the commercial people of the food industry is tough work.
