Good Counsel College welcomes pupils with special educational needs and provides for them in the following ways:

130+ hours of Resource Teaching.

Admissions Process

Open Day. ‘Expression of Interest’ forms distributed.November 8th

Application Forms posted to all of those who have completed an ‘Expression of Interest.’ November 14th Available from school or website from November 17th.

Closing date for receipt of completed Application Forms. 3pm, November 28th 2014.

Offer of place will be posted on December 11th 2014 which must be accepted/rejected in writing by 12 noon on December 19th.

Application of Admissions Criteria

Applicants, whose applications have been received on time, will be admitted in the following descending order:

1. Pupils applying to the ASD Unit, to a maximum of 6 boys for the 2014/15 academic year.

2. Pupils whose parents are members of the staff of the College.

3. Pupils who have a brother currently attending the College.

4. Pupils who have brothers/parents past-pupils of the College.

5. Others.
