Oakdale Opportunities

It’s time to start thinking about youth group and feeding lots of hungry teenagers! Volunteers are needed to work in the kitch-en preparing, serving, and cleaning up after meals for youth group. All the food is provided but willing hands are needed. Can you (and a friend) spare some time on a Sunday(4:15—6:30p)? To sign up: http://bit.ly/2kz9w1t Youth Ministries communicates many important things by e-newsletter which is published once a month. This newsletter includes important dates for High school Youth Group and DIVE (Middle School) along with general prayer requests. Go to this link to sign up: http://eepurl.com/c3FfIr Once a month, we celebrate Communion, an opportunity for us to remember and celebrate the salvation that we have in Jesus Christ by participating at the table. The Elders are look-ing for 2 or 3 volunteers who are willing to prepare the ele-ments (the bread and the juice) for Communion on the 3rd Sunday of each month. We invite you to prayerfully con-sider serving in this way for the next year. If you are interested, or have further questions, please contact Shannon Jammal-Hollemans (616-432-1720 or [email protected]).

Cost for study materials for the 30 week series is $35. Financial assistance is available for low-income or unemployed. Contact Ed Van Poolen at 616-403-4299 for details.
