Julie Wadle... husband Travis Wadle. Our son Lane just completed third grade at St Michael. I

graduated from The Ohio State University with a BA in History. For the past eleven years I have been employed by Shire Pharmaceuticals in Sales. I am serving my fourth year on St Michael’s PSO. I hope to bridge the gap between PSO and School Commission, and to apply my corporate experiences as we face this exciting time of change within the school.

David Berty… my wife, Stephanie and I have been parishioners at St. Michael since 2005. We

have three of our four children enrolled in our wonderful school, with the fourth to follow soon! I

work as a facility engineer for Eli Lilly & Company. This will be my 2nd term on school commission.

Throughout my first term, we have worked hard to deal with tight budgets and increased pressure to

maintain a top-flight Catholic education in Hancock County.

Farewell & Thank You Fr. Joe

Fr. Joe will complete his assignment of priestly ministry at St. Michael with the Masses celebrated next weekend (June 20-21). We are grateful for his ministry to our parish and school over the past six months, for his availability for funeral and special Masses, his engaging homilies and for sharing with us his passion for restoring vintage automobiles, espe-cially his Ford pick-up truck! All this while continuing his ministry as archdiocesan Adjunct Vicar Judicial and assignment to the Metropolitan Tribunal.

Thank You, Fr. Joe! If you would like to send Father a card or note of thanks you may give it to him after each of the Masses next weekend or mail it to him care of: Rev. Joseph L. Newton, JCL The Metropolitan Tribunal P.O. Box 1410 Indianapolis, IN. 46206 Unfortunately, I will be away from the parish next weekend attending the archdiocesan retreat for Permanent Deacons. I would like to express what a privilege it has been for me personally to serve with Fr. Joe---may he leave with memories of St. Michael Parish and School as fond as ours are of him.
