inductanceismostefficientatstoringenergy.WerefertothispointofefficiencyasanArticulation Pole.Electrically,articulationisameasureoftheefficiencyofacableornetworktostoreenergyandtransportpower.Thistransportablepowerisusedtomovethe

speakerandproducesound.Themoreefficientlytheenergyisstoredandthentransported,themorenaturalthesoundwillbe.

AcablethathasitsArticulationPoletunedtoahighfrequencyisdescribedbyaudiophilesas“bright”or“fast.”Conversely,acablethathasitsArticulationPoletunedtoalowerfrequencywouldbedescribedbyaudiophilesas“muddy”or“veiled.”MITCables’interfacesareengineeredtohavemultipleArticulationPoles.
