(B) Purpose of Policy To perform ordered procedures in a manner that causes the least amount of anxiety for the patient, and provides the staff the most cooperation from the patient in order to obtain the best images possible. (C) Procedure Patients requiring sedation will be monitored according to the Conscious Sedation Policy titled Sedation/Analgesia by Non-Anesthesiologists #3364-100-53-11.
