Awards / Accolades2006 was a very good year for 4 Copas Tequila here in the States. We received some solid recognition by both the print and broadcast me-dia, as well as garnering some top industry awards. Patterson’s’ Beverage Jour-nal also gave us a great review. They said “4 Copas was already creating a major buzz in Hollywood”.

For the second consecutive year,

4 Copas Tequila took home gold, silver,

and bronze medals at the San Francisco

Mountain View, CAThe Chefs and staff at Google along with a guest appearance by Chef Jeffrey Mora (LA Lakers Chef) and 4 Copas USA put on a wonderful organic din-ner at Google headquarters. Don Hector Galindo, Ruth Marquina, and Hector Jr. were in attendance to honor this special occasion. Tickets were avail-able in advance and sold out immediately. Chefs Josef, Jim, Wade, Jeffery and crew really out did themselves. The menu featured 5 courses that in-fused the complete line of tequilas, roasted agave, and our organic 4 Copas Agave Nectar. Our staff mixoligist Emiliano worked magic with 4 Copas cocktails this year. Emiliano was on hand for all of our major golf events, and special parties and tastings. One of the biggest hits of his was the 4 Copas Mojito. People were amazed how wonderful they tasted. Another smash hit were the 4 Copas Lemon drops. The delicate white ground pepper/lemon lime finish of the blanco blended superbly with the ingredients. A typical comment was, “This is so much better tasting than a vodka based lemon drop”. The Margaritas were by far, the star of the bar. The recipe above has been duplicated on many drink menus at many five star hotels and top restaurants and clubs.

2006 Playboy Golf Tournament San DiegoRancho Santa Fe, CA

Morgan Run Country Club was the setting for a great event. The Playboy Golf San Diego Scramble was awesome. The whole mood of the affair was uplifting and people had a fun time. ZEN Sushi Bar and Martini Lounge hosted the party the night before with many aspiring future playmates. 4 Copas Tequila provided a bar on the outside patio, where margaritas, mojitos, and lemon drops were served. Quite a few of the players particularly enjoyed sipping 4 Copas Anejo while having a cigar. The tournament itself was equally enjoyable, despite a back up on the 14th hole. 4 Copas will be sponsoring the Playboy Golf Finals in March 2007. We will be the exclusive tequila sponsor at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel party, the Playboy Mansion Party, and at the Lost Canyons Golf Course. See you there!
