MO’s Needle & Thread The new website is www.mosneedleandthread.com #4. As far as facebook in concerned. The original Around the Block Page will not be up- dated. I do have a business page under MO’s Needle & Thread, however with business pag- es, you generally will not see a post made to it on your newsfeed. You have to physically go to the page, which is silly. Because I refuse to pay every time I post something, I created a group page. With the group page, if you join it, you will see all posts in your normal newsfeed. This is why I generally only update the group page. So, if you want to check for more current infor- mation join my group page www.facebook.com/groups/mosneedleandthread I post new patterns/fabrics when they arrive, models, and other important information. Time to sign up for Fall Retreat. Premium Rooms are on a first come first serve basis this year and we are already half full. Make sure you call ASAP to reserve your room. Single Occupancy Rooms and Dorm rooms are also available. Call 517-647-5430 to sign up today! April 27th (1pm or 6pm) will be the Stitcher’s Garden 2 Informational Meet- ing. This meeting will run approximately 1 hour long. Here you will get a brief over- view of the class, receive the dates, choose your colorway and receive your background fabric. Please let us know ASAP if you want to participate in this year long class if you can not make the meeting. Exciting Changes Happening! Dear Quilting Friends, Well it’s official! I am the new owner of Around the Block Quilt Shop! Things have been super hectic since I have tak- en over, yet I’m loving every minute of it! I really appreciate all of the well wish- es, support and excitement from all of Around the Block’s loyal customers. I have a few important things that I would like to address. Exciting Changes Happening! Dear Quilting Friends,

Well it’s official! I am the new owner

of Around the Block Quilt Shop! Things

have been super hectic since I have tak-

en over, yet I’m loving every minute of

it! I really appreciate all of the well wish-

es, support and excitement from all of

Around the Block’s loyal customers.

I have a few important things that I

would like to address. First, I would like

to put to rest some of the concerns that I

have heard through the grapevine.

#1. I AM NOT GETTING RID OF THE

FABRIC. This one cracks me up. I assure

you that I did not purchase a fabric store,

to get rid of all of the fabric! If anything,

we probably have way too much com-

ing. This IS and ALWAYS WILL remain a

quilt store. I owned a Needlework store

previously, so I did bring all of my inven-

tory into the shop. We

now carry supplies for

Counted Cross Stitch,

Punch Needle, Needlepoint, and Wool Ap-

plique. I now have everything that I love in a

one stop shop! Custom Framing is also availa-

ble for your Counted Cross Stitch projects!

#2. I have decided to change the name. Not

that I didn’t love the name, but I need a name

that can pertain to all of the things in my shop.

My previous store was called MO’s Needle &

Thread. I purposely made the name ambiguous

because I knew from the very beginning that I

would be adding quilting to my store at some

point. I needed a name that could pertain to all

of my many loves that involve a needle!

#3. We are doing a major overhaul on the

website. This is not an easy task and it will take

a while to get it up to par. New items are added

daily. I appreciate your patience while we work

on this huge project.

figured out all of the de-

tails yet, but they are in

the works.

Another option this year

are 2-3 hours long and

you walk out with a fin-
